I recently wrote a review following a visit in October with friends visiting from Spain & had a very poor experience with us leaving with our deserts in the end as the service & food had been so poor. So much so that after waiting for nearly half an hour for the bill our friends eventually went to the till to pay & still had to wait nearly 15 mins for someone to deal withy them. I had previously been for mid weel lunch with a friend 7 had good food & service which was why we went with these friends, only to be really disaapointed & embarrassed. For you then to respond that it was unacceptable to write a review after a gap since visiting & clain that I had probably never been was the final nail in the coffin. We will not be visiting again or recommending your establishment. It is not good practice to accuse customers lying & only accept positive reviews. That does not help improve things. The reason for the delay is that life is busy & so I only go & put on reviews periodically when I take time off from work & often put several on at the same time.

Nothing to give an answer to. This is a reply by a customer to the Black Horse. It reflects her view on the experience. That's what sites such as Trip Adviser are for.
