On the main portal, flanked by the two lateral entrances with lunette,is a Gothic aedicule with a Madonna and Child with Angels and an Abbott holding an Offering. This is a copy of the original attributed to Lupo di Francesco.kept at the National Museum of San Matteo in Pisa. Above  are three rows of loggias.
