Ça été un grand plaisir de partager ces quelques jours dans cette endroit typique et très agréable, petit déjeuner local, visite accompagnée de "Toutou " le propriétaire, dans la médina ,Hergla et Monastir. Très bel endroit .A très vite de revenir Daniel

I liked my stay in this classic blue and white arab house which has an inner yard. I felt myself like a king in the castle. All house was just for me. Personally I like to learn about local culture and history, when I'm travelling. Dar Hkaiem is ideal for that. It was a much better experience than staying in a hotel room (which are similar all around the world). The place is situated in the residental area, not very far from the beach and not far from taxi (louage) station. I liked to see closely the everyday life of local people.

I highly recommend Dar Hkaiem . The guest house is really comfortable and you feel joy spending a few days there . People are welcoming and cheerful. Visiting Tunisia makes you eager to know more about its history and culture . So Dar HKaiem is the place where you can meet local people and try Tunisian food .

Ich war für 2 Wochen im Einzelzimmer untergebracht worden und ich fühlte mich sehr wohl und willkommen. Der Gastgeber Majdi kümmerte sich stets um alle Anliegen und war immer erreichbar und ging so gut er es konnte, auf alle Wünsche und Anfragen ein. Ich hatte manchmal Frühstück bestellt und es wurde lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Unterkunft ist sicher, nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Majdi bietet für seine Gäste Städtetouren an und kann vieles über die tunesische Kultur zeigen und erklären. Man fühlt sich einfach gut aufgehoben, ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

My stay in dar hkaïem was really a magnificent and comfortable one, i must admit Majdi (the host) was the best in terms of hosting and showing you around tunisia, he's really a great guy and always making sure you're comfortable and satisfied, he took me to some hidden tunisian gems such as coliseum eljem, the medina of sousse and tunis, monastir and more, and i was fascinated by how good the food is either at the restaurants Majdi took me to or the food he makes in dar Hkaïem, i highly recommend passing by if you are ever in Sousse, and of course if you want to try something different and live closer to the locals.
