بلادي بعل & أنا بقيت في الزواية لمدة ليلتين غير مريحة للاحتفال بالذكرى زفاف لدينا. St Ives beautifull & مكان القوات المسلحة البوروندية، ولكن كان الغرفة صغيرة جداً وعرض البحر كان هناك وإذا كان لديك بينوكولارس! وقد يوجد أبلغنا لدى وصولهم إلى مشكلة. مرحاض دافق استمرت حتى كما نصح

We are disappointed and perturbed to find this review which is so out of kilter with the excellent feedback we receive from other guests both here on Tripadvisor and face to face. We are never happy if a guest does not feel fully delighted with their experience. However, we are confident in the quality of the guest house and the service we provide. We work very hard to ensure that everyone enjoys their stay. These guests have raised a number of issues and it is important to reflect on each of them On arrival we informed the customers that a previous guest had reported a transient problem with the toilet flush that occasionally continued to run. The problem disappeared when the bathroom tap was run for a second. This has been investigated by our builder but he has not been able to recreate the symptom and could not find a problem. However, we felt it appropriate to inform the guests that should it recur it was easily resolved. We are replacing the whole unit as we fully agree that even a single continuous flush is not acceptable. The correct level of mattress firmness is a very personal and subjective issue. Clearly these guests felt that the mattress was too soft. The mattress is a hotel deluxe mattress that is less than 9 months old. We do not believe that it is faulty and we have actively sought the views of subsequent guests. They have all been delighted with the mattress quality. There was one wardrobe hinge not fully connected out of a total of six. The door action was not affected and it took 15 seconds to repair. We regularly check our fixtures and fittings and we did not detect any problems prior to their arrival. The guests claim that there was some sand in one drawer. We apologise if this was the case as we take cleanliness very seriously. This is reflected in the comments made by other reviewers. The most distressing part of this review is the claim that we did not react to the guests concerns. Unfortunately the guests first told us of any problems after two days as they were departing. They had spoken with me at some length during breakfast the previous day discussing their plans for the day and the various options and attractions. They made no comment on the bed, the wardrobe, the sand or the toilet flush. At the point of checkout they told the Manager that they were not prepared to pay and that they were leaving. They told her that we could call them to discuss it when they got home. She persuaded them to speak with us on the phone and I immediately drove the half mile to the guest house. At this point the client re-iterated that she would not pay and listed the above problems. Clearly we were concerned with the points she had made and re-visited the room with them to examine the issues. We explained that if they had made us aware of the housekeeping issues we would have resolved them immediately. Together, we flushed the toilet for five minutes without re-creating the problem. It appears that this joint investigation was construed as us being “aggressive”. We apologise if the guests felt that this was not a worthwhile process but we felt it was important to investigate the issues together to ensure we fully understood their concerns. Overall, we are very upset by these comments, but have put it in perspective with comments/reviews previously received.
