Lots of artifacts and will be great to get yourself clear what is the main thing to visit inside before getting there. Else tour guide available near the ticket boot.

es ist schade, dass wir noch das alte Museum besichtigen konnten, da die Eröffnung zum wiederholten Male verschoben ist...
Die schönsten Exponate sind wohl schon im Neuen Museum, die Präsentation der immer noch tollen Stücke ist recht altbacken, etwas langweilig dargeboten.
Wer noch etwas warten kann, sollte es tun, bis das Neue Museum endlich eröffnet wird.

We took an Uber to the museum £5, then booked on line direct on museum website EGP 200, so a cheap way way to visit.
It wasn’t busy when we went arrived at 11am, no air con as old museum for these antiquities, but not overly hot. Tutankhamen on the first floor don’t take pictures as the security will watch and delete from your phone!

It’s worth visiting or in other words best place to visit around Cairo at least in my opinion.
This place is very old and got to know that new building is almost ready and will open next year for tourists.
Museum is very big and full of old Egyptian history and culture.
Must see👍
