Bei meinem Besuch war der Platz verwaist. Aber ich kann mir vorstellen, dass er an einem Sommerabend ein beliebter Treff für Gäste und Einheimische ist. Er liegt gleich neben dem Marktplatz und bietet ein intimeres Flair.

If visiting this village for a day trip then this is not the little square to sit and enjoy dinner or lunch, only if you're spending several days here would I do so, perhaps to find a little quieter space. It is a cute little square and the people around her are friendly and helpful but the main centre square has more charm and beauty, it is being completely overshadowed I'm afraid.

Wetheim has many things to offer when you visit. The people are friendly, there is shopping, places for coffee, as well as a great deal of history all over the city.

Im Malerwinkel ist ein Maler und Glasbläser. Er fertigt Schmuck aus Glas an.

The citizens of Wertheim are very friendly people, very welcoming. A lot of tourist shopping opportunities. The town is so small that walking thru the center city, you get the market-vibe but you also see fountains, public art, town history and the whole “village” feel.

Wir waren der Meinung hier gebucht zu haben, allerdings stellte sich dann heraus, dass wir im dazu gehörigen Gästehaus eingebucht waren. Wäre alles kein Problem gewesen, wenn man uns dies mit einer gewissen Kundenfreundlichkeit vermittelt hätte. Dies war leider nur in einem sehr unfreundlichen/abweisenden Ton möglich. Über die Zimmer/da Frühstück im eigentlichen Hotel kann ich nichts sagen. Im Gästehaus (2 Straßen weiter) wurden wir dann freundlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer war zwar ohne Balkon aber richtig groß. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war appetlich und gut.

This is a great way to spend the day and evening should you choose. The winding cobbled paths throughout the town invite you to explore all the avenues of history, all levels of shops with real wares and real riches, from a Dollar store to the finest of merchandise, you decide, countless ice cream and espresso and enjoyable restaurants and cafés. Our favorite... Restaurant-malerwinkel and Chef Rene Gosi!!

On the back wall in Gerbergasse 16 (to 1934 Judengasse) the head of the former synagogue from 1799 (as well as a memorial plaque), this square and many Jewish families lived in this wiijk ever. The 1583-built house Nr. 6 with neo-Romanesque portal and House brand of butcher Hans Stark. The view on the "Spitze Turm" the ensemble gave its name: malerwinkel.
