The young lady serving me was very polite. Made suggestions answered my question about the produces. She took photos of me near the vines and on the patio. was a local and answered question about the area. Pleasantly surprised with this gem.

Off season, Tony opened for us with open arms! Personalized wine tasting, visit of the facility. Awesome wines and cider.

Beautiful location on the Kingston peninsula. Amazing location. Well worth the visit. Friendly service and staff

Seriously!! Why didn’t we buy more!!
Great Champagne and wine,cider and cyser which was new to us!!
Tony was awesome and gave us directions to a local waterfall.

As guests staying at the nearby Ridgeback Lodge, we decided to visit some breweries in Rothesay and check out Dunhams Run winery. Very glad we did! Even though their website doesn't advertise they are open in the winter, there is usually someone there so definitely stop in. We had a tour and a tasting, and got to try out a couple of the new wines they are brewing, fantastic. The woman who works there is younger but has been there many years, she is very friendly and certainly knows her stuff! We got a great history on the winery, the owner, and she is very knowledgeable about the wines.The wines are $20 and over but they are very much worth it when you realize how much work is put into the efforts of making the wine, especially with only 1 or 2 staff that do it for that large of a production.We will certainly be back again :)
I have no photos to share but we did buy FizzUncle (sparkling wine), Apple Cider, and a red wine. They have a great selection there.

hey...thanks for the great write up and glad you enjoyed the wines and winery....yes we are here year round so please stop by for a visit...its really worth it....cheers

We enjoyed our quick stop on our way to Ridgeback Lodge. We were greeted by two workers who allowed us to taste some wine and ring through our purchase. Nice wine!

The owner was wonderful and very informative
Other than knowing I like red wine I didn't have much knowledge however he was so friendly and helpful and gave us a little taste of a few of his delish beverages :)
We will make the drive just to go back there
The wine was really good and they also have tours which we didn't do maybe next time
Really nice spot and again super friendly people
Go for a visit you won't be disappointed

What a great place to visit! The atmosphere is relaxed and the scenery is beautiful with a view of the water when walking through the vineyard. The comedy show was good and lots of selection of wines to drink or take home. This truly is a hidden gem.

We decided to visit this winery while we were away on vacation. When we got there it was closed but there were some contractors working on the building. They called the owner and shortly after he showed up. We were more than happy to see that he was taking time from his day off just for us, really nice of him. We tried a multitude of product. We bought the Long Reach white wine, Lily in the Pink rosé, an Apple Cider and Red wine Marquette. We also bought a champagne. Some of their products have won medals - the owner will explain everything, hes very nice. The vineyard is very beautiful and well maintained. Now, there is one thing we tried and I promised I would talk about in my review...They will be bringing out a beer. I'm not going to say what its made with, not sure if I'm at liberty to say, but believe me when I say that this beer is amazing. I've tried everything that the liquor stores offer and always try the microbrews when we go out and theres some available, but this beer is the best beer that I've ever tasted, hands down. The beer is called « Barrelled Life » and trust me, when it comes out you have to try it. It really is the best beer ever!

This was my first experience at Dunhams Run. I'll be back. The tastings were varied and enjoyable. The staff is engaging and even offered to let us help with thte netting! Maybe after a few more tastings I might have helped. They have a great viewpoint on the property to overlook the River Valley and winery. The wine varieties had something for everyone. The grounds and view were spectacular as was the staff.
