Para mi no merece la pena pagar la entrada para ver lo que hay dentro,que básicamente son dos salas con vitrinas en las que se exponen cestas de mimbre.Eso si,las vistas muy chulas pero sin entrar al castillo también son espectaculares

Il castello si trova ad un'altezza vertiginosa e da lì si gode uno stupendo panorama sull'intero golfo dell'Asinara. La struttura è ben conservata anche se l'interno è stato pesantemente intonacato, rovinandone purtroppo la suggestione. Nelle sale interne è ospitata un'interessante mostra di cesti e oggetti intrecciati

5 euros pour une vue gratuite depuis les ruelles 20 mètres plus bas. La visite dure 5 minutes en traînant bien bien. Passez votre tour sans hésiter, il y a d'autres choses à voir en ville

We drove from Sassari by following the coastal road that took us to this picturesque town perched high on the hill. This medieval fortress is full of history and wonder and is included among “The most beautiful villages in Italy”. From the top of the Castle which originate from late 13th century we enjoyed spectacular views over the gulf of Asinara.
There are plentiful of restaurants and cafes where you can have some refreshments or meal or just rest after exploring the area.

Giro turistico obbligatorio se si fa tappa a Castelsardo.
Le lunghe salite non cerchino di dissuadere i turisti, perché la vista in cima è splendida, il museo al suo interno, ordinato e molto interessante

Cambiando la signora addetta alla biglietteria che alle 16:35 ci ha buttato fuori senza neanche farci fare una foto dall'ingresso, dicendo che l'ultimo Ingresso è alle 16:30 e il castello chiudeva alle 17.... alle 16:40 ha chiuso il portone ! chiudendoci fuori !!.. più gentile il ragazzo che mi ha fatto mettere dentro un piede per fare una foto al volo tra un sacchetto della pattumiera e l'altro...

El interior del castillo, no es gran cosa. Pero tiene unas vistas muy bonitas desde lo alto del castillo.

Une guide passionnée (parlant le français), une entrée vraiment pas chère, en plus de la visite du château avec des pièces pleines d’objets de l’époque, et 2 autres petits musées sont compris dans le prix.

Echt altes Gemäuer mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf Castelsardo, das Meer und die gesamte Nordküste Sardiniens. Bei guter Sicht erkennt man sogar Korsika am Horizont. Unbedingt besichtigen!
Angeschlossen bzw. im Eintritt inkludiert ist ein lohnenswertes kleines Museum über die lokale Flechtkunst mit stimmungsvoller Musik.

If there is one place to visit in Castelsardo then it has to be the Castle/Citadel which towers over this lovely old town providing - on reaching the top - panoramic views of both the sea and the surrounding countryside.
Adult Entry fee is Euros 2.5 and what also shouldn’t Is the charming Old Town - on which the Castle/Citadel sits which not only has many Bars, Restaurants & Shops but it still largely inhabited.
Not to be missed!
