Per la prima volta nella mia vita ho visto questa roccia e mi ha emozionato.
All'interno ci sono dei fori,si tratta della Domus de Ianas(casa delle fate).
Dovete assolutamente vederla, è bellissima

Right by the road and worth quick stop to see this natural created Elephant rock. You might be harassed at the parking space by some souvenir sellers but polite thank you will suffice.

Arrêt à faire en tant que touriste, si vous passez par là. Pas nécessaire de faire un détour rien que pour cela.
Mais proche de Castelsardo, donc possible de faire d'une pierre deux coups.
Pas de problème pour se garer en bord de route en saison creuse, mais probablement plus compliqué en été.

After some 20 years, my wife and myself paid a return visit to Elephant Rock which is located some 5-10 Kms on a busy road outside the attractive seaside town of Castelsardo.
Fortunately, the Elephant was still in good shape and as popular as ever as there were a number of other people admiring the attraction when we arrived!
A fitting way to end our visit Sardinia and, hopefully, it won’t be 20 years before our next visit!

La Roccia dell'Elefante si trova sulla statale 134 ed è uno dei simboli di Castlelsardo. E' una roccia trachitica di colore ruggine. E' molto particolare, vale la pena andare a vederla.

Incredibile quanto sia bella la natura, questa roccia, vista dando le spalle a Castelsardo, ha proprio le sembianze di un elefante...bellissima.

Facile da raggiungere è molto particolare. Interessante vedere le aperture nella roccia che indicano i rifugi utilizzati dai fuggiaschi

peccato la strada rotta, e il poco passaggio... però vale una foto se ci passate davanti magari per raggiungere qualche cattedrale nell'entroterra

Rocher qui donne l'illusion d'un éléphant sur le point de traverser la route. Cela vaut la peine de s'y arrêter quelques minutes (sur la route entre Castelsardo et Sidini) pour faire quelques photos, il est facile de s'arrêter : il y a un parking sur le côté droit de la route.

Super attraction mais le temps d’une photo et c’est fini mais à faire c’est vraiment impressionnant il faut se garer sur le bord de la route un peu dangereux mais vaut le coup
