‪The destination EV chargers are on the side of building. Outside the door, pickup a to-go package of maps or enter inside for maps, toilet. Friendly staff. Good parking. Downtown on side street. Right on MICKELSON TRAIL.‬

‪This Visitor Center is a great stop for brochures and information about the area and all its attractions. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was also fun to find our home town on a large US map and stick a pin in. The couple from Switzerland was directed to the international map. There's a great bust of Custer outside and be sure to walk across the road and French Creek and check out the Custer Skywalk Nature Trail. The entrance is framed to elongated sculptures of Custer and "Chief". If you ascend the wide wooden stairway you'll be treated to a great view of the town and surrounding area. There are also places to picnic.‬

‪We visited the visitors center on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, to pick up brochures and information about walking trails. Dawn steered us to the best trails for us to walk as well as the best driving routes to see the attractions around the area. Sure glad we stopped by to obtain information before starting our ventures around the Custer area because we were more confident about what we would be experiencing.

‪Stop here first. The lady that helped us was very informative. She knew everything about what we were interested in. It is located off the main roads. I was able to pick up a lot of useful information.‬

‪The staff here are friendly and have an outstanding knowledge of the area. It is also pet friendly so you do not have to leave your dog in the car while you get your information. Signage is a little confusing but you will get there if you just keep following it.‬
