‪Third time I've gone out with Baker Mountain Guides and every time it's been incredible. They are knowledgable, friendly, and safe which allows you to just enjoy the incredible terrain and experience. Highly, highly recommend.‬

‪Best AIARE 2 you can take‬

‪Julz and the other AIARE 2 instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They knew their stuff and stayed late with our group both days to make sure we knew it too, answering our questions ad nauseam . The experience massively exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this outfit to anyone looking for guiding / instruction / anything to do with mountains.‬

‪Most fun and educational class I have personally taken‬

‪I took an AIARE 1 class last weekend with Baker Mountain Guides and had a phenomenal time.
The online classroom section provided nice flexibility. On the first field day, we practiced fundamental skills. On the second day, we toured with the plan that we the students came up with, under our instructor's supervision. Which provided excellent learning opportunities.
I learned invaluable information throughout the course and had a blast while doing it.
I recommend anyone looking for avalanche education in the Mt Baker area, or anywhere in general, to take this course. 10/10‬

‪Epic day in the backcountry‬

‪What an epic day in the backcountry with BMG! My guide was Matt - he was awesome. He listened to my goals and truly followed them We had a great day on the mountain.

BMG was great from the get-go. Really strong communication, very professional, and it's obvious they know what they are doing.

Highly recommend.‬

‪Cragging on Mount Erie‬

‪I had a great time cragging with Derek on Mount Erie for two days. We spent time on four different walls with a wide range of climbing routes, from cracks to dihedrals to faces. Derek helped me get up a bunch of 5.9 and 5.10 routes which were at the edge of my abilities. Fantastic place to climb and a great guide to lead and get me up and down safely‬

‪Amazing experience! Our instructor, Julz made this AIARE 1 course personalized and engaging. This was an invaluable education, highly recommended to anyone who wishes to spend more time outdoors. BMG is well organized and provides Quality guide service and instruction.‬

‪We took the AIARE a level 1 avalanche course and came away with a ton of knowledge between the zoom classes and the two days in the field. Our field instructor Greyson made it fun while super educational and we had sunny beautiful days in the backcountry. Our lack of Zoom skills made the online part a bit frustrating but overall great.‬

‪Perfect Tour, Felt Very Personalized‬

‪This was a great way to get an intro to the Mount Baker area. Our tour guide was incredible, really passionate about skiing, touring, the local area, and just avalanche conditions. Every group we passed on the mountain knew our guide, makes you happy that you picked a reputable service. Our guide made us well aware of the avy danger, then created a custom route that fit that danger, our groups conditioning, and our groups skiing ability. Felt like a very personalized tour, despite signing up for one of the pre-scheduled tours from the group. I left with an appreciation of the area and a better general understanding of backcountry skiing in that area. Can't wait to go back.‬

‪Avy One Course‬

‪I did the Avy one course and had John as our instructor. It was the best outdoors course I have ever taken! John provided so much knowledge and made the entire process so much fun. I expected to learn a bit in the course and for the weekend to be somewhat mundane. I learned more than I thought I would and had one of the most fun weekends of the winter. I will be coming back for the Avy 2 course next winter!‬

‪This course gave me so much knowledge, thanks to Dustin and the experience I had. There is a ton that goes into keeping you and yourself safe in the backcountry that I would have never realized. I am way more present with where I am at in the Backcountry and intimate with my lines now thanks to Baker Mountain Guides. I had a phenomenal experience.‬
