I love the library here in Prineville! We went to get new library cards right after we moved here, and the staff was extremely helpful. They gave us a lot of information on that first visit, and I have gone back many times. I love their book sale, too. They have an outstanding variety of good books in good condition for sale, and all at a very reasonable price.

We have lived here in Prineville only 2 years now and loving it more each day. The library here far exceeds the libraryies of where we use to live in Georgia. It isn't the largest in the world but very modern. They have programs for all ages almost every day. They have book sales all the time, meeting rooms, computer rooms, and book trades. They have an outdoor patio area that is quite nice. I am not a book nut but most of the libraries out here in Central Oregon are 1st rate.

I went in to get a library card and came out with a great impression of what a library should be. The service was stellar, very friendly people working in the library and they are happy to be there.

Whether looking for a book, a dvd, a recording, a used book to buy, a place to donate used books, or to meet up with knitting or quilting or gardening friends, or to attend informative presentations, this library does it all in a spacious, inviting atmosphere. That only scratches the surface of its many offerings. GOOD JOB, CCL!

The first time i went into the library, was very surprised to see how large it it. Its fairly new. the sections are well laid out. Comfy chairs to sit and relax/read, Feel so at home in this library. .

Don't be fooled by the small town feel, our library has awesome staff, great programs and a shared library with the other counties to be sure to get you just what you want.

Staff are usually very helpful. If they don't have something they will order it. Nice rooms available for free for private use.

New building with a decent sized parking lot. Quiet and air conditioned. As a traveler on a budget, it was great to be able to pop in and take care of business on my laptop using the free wifi.

The Crook County Library in Prineville is Excellent. Everyone who works there is always so knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is good, the computer system is modern and user friendly. They even send email reminders when my books or other media are due. The fact that this is a three county library system is very nice in that I can check out books if I'm in Redmond or Bend as well...I can return books to any library in this system, but I try to return where I borrowed. If you're there at the right time there is a coffee shop to enjoy.
