The owner told me i was not being safe in aiding an inexperienced member of our group load a shotgun and advised me to load the firearm myself and hand it to said member (this in itself is listed as a rule not to do on there website). I have shot at Millride for over 5 years and on the last 2 occasions my partner has experienced sexism from customers and shooting school staff. Cyril the shooting school instructor assumed my female partner (also shooting for 5+ years) to be an inexperienced shooter based solely on her gender and accused her of waving her firearm around (something she could not of done as the clay-stand we were on only required vertical movement, she also shot both clays and opened her gun immediately on completion) when my partner asked what exactly she had done wrong his words were “ i am NOT here to listen to YOU” implying he would not discuss his opinions with a woman. He complained to the owner before we had even started shooting clays which resulted in the owner chaperoning us around the grounds, when he claimed my partner was not being safe the owner said she didn't understand what we had done wrong as she was watching us the entire time and stated we were acting in a safe and appropriate manner, but at the same time made no attempt to intervene and stop his aggressive stance towards the female members of the group, without acknowledging or criticising any males in the group, who had the same experience and were acting and shooting in the same manner.

Great place to shoot air rifle field target every Saturday morning. Friendly and knowledgeable members who will help get you started . If your lucky you can even get an autograph off Sonic "The Peoples Champion"

Again another wonderful trip for a birthday treat to Millride and it did not fail to live up to our expectations. Everyone went away happy from the dog Granny. Glad I live so close to take advantage of the cafe and pools

Used Millride for a few years now, always friendly, helpful, good food and down to earth. Joanne and the team, including the cook are great. Members to are friendly and always helpful. Lets get back to normal soon. Harry and John the egg men!!!

Great staff , good shooting, and food nice and hot and reasonable price, you can hire guns and the ammo is reasonable price too, on site shop to buy your gear ...if you fish as well ,...jobs a good one

Shooting experience bought for a birthday present which was very good. Health and safety talk followed by the experience all very professional and thoroughly enjoyable. Would recommend for individuals and groups.

We had a fantastic time yesterday to celebrate our friends 50th birthday. The staff were so helpful arranging everything for us. Big thanks to Joanne who went above and beyond :) Our instructor was professional and informative and as a bunch of absolute beginners, was always on hand to help out. Even though we only caught one little tiddler, we all felt we had a “Fly fishing” experience. The afternoon tea was delicious too. Thank you all x

If you like shooting and fishing this is a great place to visit. There is a good sporting layout that changes regularly. There is also Trout fishing and course fishing for Carp, bream, tenth etc. Food is available and there is a good tackle shop on site.

The perfect place for the outdoors family to try shooting ,fishing or plinking with air guns. Family run and always a friendly greeting
There is also a tackle and gun shop on site as well as a cafe serving excellent food. Highly recommended.

Don't be put off with the old adage "oh clay shooting thats an expensive sport" if you are about to take up this sport you'll find that it's not, The venue is always well attended with shooters that are willing to give any advice on the costs and give tuition freely.
The Cafe do a superb breakfast £5 or the smaller one £4. Back to the shooting, it is electronically controlled and you only pay for what you've shot, normally most shoot a 50 bird which is priced at £12 which is a lot cheaper than some of the other Wolverhampton shoots.
