Loved it! The beach was wonderful. Wish there was more to do as far as water stuff if you don't own a boat. Loved the dog beach!

We love the playground with the beautiful lake view, the many picnic tables, and the clean bathrooms that have a place to change into a bathing suit. Only drawback is that the small beach has a lot of bird droppings that made us not let the kids play in the sand or water.

My daughter and I decided to take a little vacation not far from home and chose the Tawas area. Spent time on the beach, found some great restaurants and shopped the local antique stores. This area is perfect for a family get-away.

Great variety and delicious ice cream treats. Fairly priced with friendly staff. It isn’t summer without a trip to Uncle Rays.

We spent some time here having lunch in the pavilion (we brought our own), and then throwing a football around on the lawn by the beach. It overall was a fantastic break and experience, and being along the beach is never a bad thing! There was a taco food truck/stand here, but we didn't try it....we brought our own "picnic" lunch.

The Tawas City shoreline park is recently update. Newer public restrooms, pavilion, kayak rental shack, snack bar food pavilion and beautiful sandy beach. A big plus for Tawas City.

Not much to see here. You walk from the park (where there is usually something happening every weekend) to the end of this grassy pier. People walk their dogs here, but don't always clean up after them, so watch your step. It's a convenient place to step away from the park crowds and have a cigarette. Not a destination place.

Nice little park with a clean beach with soft waves, it's not crowded either. good to spend 1/2 day.
there is a rental place too. there is around 3 beaches on the tawas shoreline, nice drive.

Big park area. Kayak and paddle pads available to rent when we were there. Play area nice but small and crowded. Bathrooms new. Beach groomed. Get rid of the geese tho!!

I can see why this would be popular in the area. Today it’s raining. Nice playground, picnic area, restrooms, grassy area. View of lake is nice. We also stopped at park just south of here and we liked that too.
