Very fun family adventure for my family of four. We spent a majority of time in the kids areas with a four year old and a ten year old, but the kids splash kept our littles entertained for hours. We did end up standing in line for one of the family waterslides and the wait time ended up being about thirty minutes, which was not bad considering we were there on the fourth of July. Short wait times to get into the park, get food, and for the bathrooms and changing area which is a major plus with littles. Can't wait to go back!

Worst experience ever at White water Atl. Very over priced. Lines are crazy long. I have a daughter that has hypoglycemia very badly. Her blood sugar dropped while in line for a ride. She stated to get sick. The staff member in that line was amazing. She helped my daughter. Got her a drink which helped temporarily. We left the line to get her food. We stood in the line for food for 45mins. Got to the window and the staff member Caila @ seaside by wave pool told us that the register was down and we needed to go to another lane. During that time the line had doubled in length because it started to rain and all rides closed. I explained that my daughter needed food or she was going to pass out, we purchased the meal deal online and asked her to ring us up at another register. She refused. I told her I would not leave the line since we already waited and my daughter's blood sugar had dropped so I needed them to allow me to get the food for my daughter that was already purchased. Another staff member got involved and took our order which was appreciated. They shut that line down making everyone who had been waiting leave and go to other places. They had the register fixed within 10mins so I went back to get refills. We purchased the unlimited drink cups. When I went back to get a refill the staff member refused to serve me. I asked for the manager (ADI) who also refused to serve me and proceeded to call security and have me kicked out of the park. I left the line and went to guest services and had to wait in another long line to speak to multiple people wrote a formal complaint. They said they can not return the money for the tickets desite the fact that we didnt get to ride any rides, had a terrible experience where staff refused to help when my daughter was having a medical issue and then it began to storm and all rides were closed so I was unable to go on additional rides. They stated that they will review the compaint and decide if they will email me additional tickets to re-enter at a later date despite my concerns about returning after the experience and having a repeat experience although it may take up to 2 weeks. Worst experience ever. I paid over $300 for 4 people and got nothing but an argument from a rude staff member and to talk to guest relations.

I was very disappointed with our visit to this waterpark. Tickets were way to high! Half the rides were closed, staff was rude. The tickets on the website said $25 per person. When we clicked on the tickets it then changed to $36 per person, also on the website you could pay for parking, which said benefit parking $30. We didn't want to pay that much so we figured we pay at the park. When we got to the park it was still $30. Almost half the rides at the park were shut down "due to mechanical issues" so the lines were extra long because there were only limited rides to ride. The staff was extremely rude, one of the life guards literally screamed at my child for trying to get our of the lazy river and he was having trouble. They didn't even bother to help my child. I have never seen such poor services before in my life. Also the bathrooms were absolutely atrocious. Literally poop in every stall and even one stall at poop smeared all over the walls. I would not waste a single dime on this place. I would travel to Gatlinburg and have a clean water park to have fun in.

First visit back to Six Flags White Water in few years. One thing I noticed immediately, all the staff were fantastic! Concessions, security, and lifeguards were friendly and professional. The park overall was in good shape with the exception of the hooch. Quite a bit of debris from the trees.
Things to note after being away for a few years. They don’t open until 11. I could have sworn they used to open much earlier.
Over half of the slides were closed. Closed rides all day included:
Black River Falls
Bahama Bob Slide
Tidal Wave
Gulf Coast Screamer
Caribbean Plunge
Wahoo Racer
Run-a-way River
Dive Bomber
Lizard’s Tail
Typhoon Twister
My young son enjoys the 3 play areas, Atlanta ocean and hooch/lazy river so we are mostly entertained with a few water slide rides. I would guess for kids a little older than him, it may be more of an issue if they are scared to ride the high thrill slides. Luckily, this wasn’t too big an issue for us today as the park crowds were very light. No more than 10 minute wait for most slides.
The food prices are insane. Always have been but they continue to rise. Plan accordingly. No outside drinks including water so you have to ask for water at the kiosks. With the low crowds today, this wasn’t a problem for us.
I’m hopeful they can add back more staff and reopen some of my favorite slides in the coming weeks.

I feel compelled write this review as there's so many negative ones. We went in June and July 3rd this summer, going back this weekend. All of the experiences we had were excellent, sure some rides were closed but most were open. None of the closed rides impacted our experience as we had fun on the ones that were open. Staff was friendly, good food, all around 10/10 like I remember as a kid. My son who is 8 has had a great experience with his dad at white water and these are memories we will take forever. Thanks to this great park.

We came with a large party to celebrate my son’s 6th birthday. We arrived shortly after opening, and it has basically been a nightmare ever since. None of the rides are open, aside from the lazy river & the wave pool- NO water slides. We paid $350 for a cabana, which is supposed to include waiter service so you can “skip the food lines.” Unfortunately, there’s only one waiter for ALL of the cabanas, so it took an hour and forty minutes for even a PART of our order to arrive. (The rest still isn’t here.) The lines are huge & poorly managed, and nothing about this experience has been enjoyable or celebratory. It CERTAINLY isn’t worth the $1200+ we’ve spent. Highly disappointing for a company with a name that’s supposed to be synonymous with fun. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I wish I could give it what it really deserves, and that is a flat out 0. Half the rides were shut down, and when you did get on a ride. The wait time was about an hour and a half to two hours. The purposely hold you up, with a long redundant speech, about safety, not to really advice you, as it does not take a minute to tell you, to cross your feet and interlock your hands behind your back, but they do this, so you will get frustrated at the long wait times, and go buy a flash pass, for another 50-dollar grab.
They could care less how fast you get on a ride, as they have all the money they can get already, so now, their job is to try and force you to buy a flash pass, so you won't have to wait in a long line, that they created to begin with.
Now, as a family park for your kids to enjoy, this is not it. They allow the women, as well as little teenage girls to wear G-strings. That is not a family orientated water park at all.
Not racist, but most of the workers were black, and the issue I have with that, is they allowed other blacks to get into the flash pass and ride without a pass, and I watched one worker, allow four people to ride on a single flash pass.
I will not be back to sixflags or white waters, until the parks review and change how they treat customers, and ((( PEOPLE EQUALLY))). My review on six flags is after this one, so you can review it also.
They could care less how fast you get on a ride, as they have all the money they can get already, so now, their job is to try and force you to buy a flash pass, so you won't have to wait in a long line, that they created to begin with.
Now, as a family park for your kids to enjoy, this is not it. They allow the women, as well as little teenage girls to wear G-strings. That is not a family orientated water park at all.

I used to go to White Water as a kid and took my kids for the first time yesterday. Alot of the rides were closed. Be prepared to WAIT forever in lines because they have a very limited number of tubes for each ride so it takes forever to ride anything. And to get food, I stood in line for an hour to get a hamburger and fries! Also, it was not very clean. I gave it 3 stars because the slides that we were able to ride were fun but, could have done more if it was ran more efficiently.

Would be a nice water park if it wasn’t over crowded. Wait times for slides are over an hour and wave pool was elbow to elbow. Won’t be back.

Please do not do it if you are planning to take your family there do not go to this water park go to another water park I can recommend 15 different ones I and my family go to water parks on a regular. in the last 5 years we have probably been to 20 different water parks across the country and several of them over and over it is what we enjoy as a family. This park was the worst of them. I don't complain about the money and I do always buy the extras cause well it just makes life easier. this park had the worst employees, if you were not some young girl that needed help you were ignored or treated like trash and left standing there, Half the rides were shut down and not even open witch no one told you that, some were not open do to lack of staff so when half the rides are not open makes the other rides lines twice as long you spend 40 on a ticket and then double that for the fast pass so now you have spent 80 a person to ride half the advertised rides its a scam. there are way better parks go down to Florida and go to the big kahuna, or Owa, or Warter town USA, those are ran great with good staff been to them several times. heck if you don't want to go that far get a day pass to great wolf lodge in LaGrange just outside Atlanta amazing place I take the family there 3 or 4 times a year pricy but they treat you right and act like they are glad you are spending your money with them. End tyrant but I will bet I don't even get a response back from them on this but I will be posting this review all over the place just beware take the fam somewhere else where your money that you work hard for will be appreciated.

I used to go in my preschool-preteen years and have very fond memories of it. Now that Six Flags owns then, I figured things had gotten better but reviews state otherwise. Then again, I went to Six Flags Over Georgia today and it was, undoubtedly, the single worst experience at any theme park. It was that bad. I hope White Water is as awesome as it used to be. I'm going with my cousin next weekend so. I guess I'll find out.

They have lockers, they are 20.00 for the whole day and it is a code that you pick. They are yours for specific hours for different rates. They are decent size lockers

I was there on Opening Day 2018. The water was a bit chilly in the lazy river, but the wave pool was warmer and the rides didn't seem too cold to me.
The water should warm up pretty well now since they JUST filled the rides and attractions within the last week.
