It's a four (FOUR!) screen movie theater!! Imagine being here in 1970 - this would be the talk of the town: four screens showing four different movies. Popcorn, candy, sodas.
And that's what it is today, but with upgraded seats with cupholders. Not those awful recliners at the big box place up the road where every seat is now lopsided for some reason and you can't find a comfortable position. It's got chairs that are padded. And cupholders.
They show some of the quirky movies and some of the best sellers. The audience trends older. They only take cash. But hands down, this is my favorite movie theater in the area.
You can also see the New Haven fireworks off East Rock if you're willing to pay $5 to get into the parking lot.

Love going to this non commercial, cozy, friendly, well run movie house.
Have a good range of films some you won't see else where.
oh and I love the popcorn, the price ($7 for Sr) and the staff. Parking not a problem, just off the highway.
A little old fashion but right in style.
