I don't know too much about this house other then it is historic. The plaque with info on the outside is pretty scratched up. The house was closed when we went but the grounds and outside were kept up to pare. What a beautiful home from the outside. My recommendation would be to find out when its open and go and visit it then.

I was there when they were doing Governor Trumbull's 303rd birthday party. They know how to do a party. The re-enactors were wonderful. The dragoons were great. They apparently use rescued horses which made it even better. Everyone was nice. The house and stable were beautiful and nicely maintained. It is a place I would definitely love to go again.
