Answer #1: Unfortunately there is no afternoon tour provided for this island, this is because of the uncertain weather of Koh Lanta each day, but there is a way where in you go hop on the boat you have booked, stay in Koh Rok in a night and got picked up with the same company you booked the next day.. Answer #2: All tours are bookable atleast 1 day in advance, if you happened to booked as early at 7 am with the company then there is possibility that you can join their trip in the same day you have booked, but that too depends on the availability of the company. Hi, yes should be fine. As far as I know the trips are available all year round. If you go from Lanta then you should book a trip with snorkeling included by speed boat. The average price they will ask is around 1800-1900 bahth, however you can negotiate. I managed to get down to 1100 baht for a group of 9.
