Great place to spend a couple or three hours. The animals and birds are very well looked after. Free to go in on the condition adults buy some food for the animals for 100baht. So many different types of animals and birds to feed and pet. You can go inside an aviary to feed the small parrots for buying 20baht food and you can buy food for the animals, birds and fish all around the park for 20baht a go,
My kids aged 3 and 2 loved every minute and all around the park are small play areas. We didn't eat there but the food was reasonably priced for Thai food or steaks of Beef, Pork, Ostrich and Crocodile to name a few. I know eating the animals might seem bizarre but this is Thailand and if it helps keep the park open then why not?.
We will definitely go back.

Malai Farm at Cha-am is the perfect place to visit for loved ones. Because there are many kinds of animals to photograph, such as sheep, alpacas, rabbits, with beautiful views. shady Suitable for relaxation, convenient transportation, close to Cha-am beach.

Very approachable, small scale place - it doesn't try to be a spectacular zoo but rather is just allowing for close-up experiences with livestock suitable for a petting zoo. It's just 30 minutes drive from the center of Hua Hin to get to the petting zoo.

We were looking for something to do that children (4&7) would enjoy. My girlfriend having seen Malai Farm out of the bus window one day thought this might be a good place to try.
Maiai Farm ended up being an excellent place to spend time with the kids. It's a large petting zoo, all of the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. The grounds were clean and there were none of those “aromas” that you usually associate with petting zoos.
We ended up staying there for a couple of hours and we all had fun!
There is a small restaurant located at the back of the property, the food was good and reasonably priced.
The only entry requirement is that you purchase a basket of animal feed (greens, carrots, and corn) for 100 Baht. You will easily use what is in the basket and probably want to purchase more at various stations scattered around the facility for 20 Baht a pop.
They open at 8am, I would suggest getting there early (by 9am) to beat the crowds and the heat.

We went on a Monday & there were very few people there. The farm is very nice if you like animals. There are a few places to take pics also. It is a cheap family fun day & prices are posted so no taking advantage of the “Farang”. We loved it & will go back.

Malai farm is a really nice place. it is like Singapore in the 1970s where time stood still for a while. At the entrance, you pay for some vegetables to feed the animals. That is it for payment. The animals appear well taken care of. There are actually no tourists at the farm and it is a leisurely experience feeding all the animals there. For people who visited the farm stay in Taiwan, it is the same experience for 1% of the price. There are sheep, goats, cows, ducks, ostrich. Because there isn't a crowd, you can actually come up close and personal with the animals. However the animals are ultra friendly and stretch all the way towards you so if you are not as friendly as the animals, it is a bit of an intimidating experience. We spent about an hour there. There was no stress, no rush and no hard selling. No attempt to cheat your money. In fact, in front of the duck station, it is just duck feed with a box for you to drop some cash if you want to feed it. Being illiterate in Thai, i guess that was what it meant :P So just drop in all your coins, scoop a dish of duck feed and the ducks will merely peck it away as you toss it into the feeding area. The weather was good and for a moment, life feels very good.

For us as a family by far the best farm we have visited. No double pricing, in fact no entry fee. Just buy an inexpensive mixed container of treats and away you go. They have top up stations as you go around. Highly interactive with the animals up close and personal except the crocs thankfully. Had a Parrot on the shoulder at one stage. Animals seemed happy, staff friendly and helpful. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

Koselig gård med mange forskjellige dyr barnet kan komme i kontakt med, bl.a poni, svaner, struts, alligator, wallaby, boa slange, små papegøyer, gårdsdyr og barnet kan være i kontakt med kaniner. Vi tilbragte rundt 3 timer her med en 2åring som stor koset seg. Prøv å unngå besøk midt på dagen da det er lite skygge områder.

First impressions are old, but old has its charm. They got a lot of goats and a nice variety of other animals. All animals do come to you when you are close to the pen, because you can feed them! Kids love it! If you are visiting on a Friday, be aware that you will not be able to buy food for you. Kitchen is closed Fridays.
