My wife and I have stayed here many times. This trip was not pleasant at all. When the bus got to the hotel we were told all systems were down We couldn't check in until a certain time, we could not use any comps or free play, we had to use cash to pay for our food. We arrived on a Monday and out stay was until that Friday. The spokes person said the Borgata would double our offers for the inconvenience. In addition, housekeeping told us they no longer give water to the rooms, just suites. Some systems are up and most are still down. Today is Thursday and still can't use comps, Can't wait to get out of here. Found out it is a cyber attack.

MGM Borgata is still the best venue for casino action.
Rooms have been modernized and restaurant selections are all top-notch.
Slot machines definitely appear to be more generous than other casinos.
Entire Borgata staff are always prompt and politely cater to "us" customers.
Even irate, loud and annoying customers that need to take out their anger on the staff for their loss, are still treated well.

MGM owns Borgata, I Played on their online site and won a nice jackpot. They had a pathetic bonus match that held my winning hostage until I gambled away the 25X wager requirement. The total wager for a 200-dollar match was 4,000 dollars. By the time my requirement was complete nothing was left. These requirements should be illegal with "regulated and fair" gaming. When I complained they closed my account holding my remaining funds and called the state police on me for a "wellness check". This check occurred 1 week later, and the police showed up near midnight terrifying my family shining flashlights in the windows. Bunch of Thugs, mine as well be Mob run. Never again.

You I had a long relationship with the Borgata, it’s never been about gambling but mostly a meeting center I almost feel like family here over the years water club now Mgm Tower and Borgata have treated us well with shows and perks . Good friends good food good times pools clubs 💕🧐 4 stars wasn’t enough I gave 5 stars ⭐️

My husband and I visited Borgata Casino last Wednesday. As soon as we reached the actual casino, the smell of smoke hit us in the face. We tried gambling in the nonsmoking sections; however, the smell of smoke is so strong that you are even inhaling it while playing in the nonsmoking section and this wasn't even on a weekend. We are really disappointed in Borgata. The executives put profit over the health of their employees and their patrons even though it has been proven through research that making a casino totally nonsmoking does not affect the profits. Currently, the New Jersey legislature is waiting to vote on a bill that would make casinos nonsmoking and Governor Murphy has said that he will sign the bill. But Senator Nicholas P. Scutari and Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin will not allow the bill to be placed on the floor for a vote. These two are obviously receiving money to withhold this bill. Casinos are the only place where you can smoke inside in New Jersey and allowing this harmful habit for a few people ruins the air quality for the majority of others that are in the casino. If you want to smell like an ashtray and compromise your health, then Borgata is your place to gamble.

The favorite moment of my visit was actually the ambience of the people visiting the casino. I have visited many casinos and this one has a different type of people. No drama, crying, complaining, or stern looks. I believe that the Borgata has toned down all the environment whereas all the visitors feel valued.

The casino has a first class atmosphere. Always pleasant staff and plenty to enjoy in table games and slots

Tightest machines in AC since MGM took over. If your gambling, forget it. The perks are terrible unless you want a towel warmer. I was a faithful customer since it's opening 20 years ago. Was a gem before MGM took over. Completely downhill from there if you want to play slots.

What a huge casino!!! I have been here two days now and I am still trying to find my way around!!! There are so many slot machines, numerous table games, and many food venues!!! What a fun place!!!

Borgata has gone down in customer service. I took a casino junket and everything went wrong. I was not the only one complaint. I used to go often but will never go again. I was extremely disappointed. I will be going to other MGM properties instead of Borgata.

Can families enter the casino as long as under 21 or 18 don’t enter the casino floors?

Families with children of all ages can enter N.J casinos for dinner, spa, pool and all non gaming areas. Under 21 are just not allowed on the casino gaming floor.If someone looks younger security will ask for ID and if under 21 they eill be escorted off the gaming floor.

Anyone know about Borgata event center? Looking at Aerosmith tickets. Seating chart is a VIP area then GA/standing room only. It doesn’t look like you have a specific spot. So if it’s GA, do you have to get there really early to get a spot I’m standing room only? I would think people will push to get up front. Just trying to imagine this since standing room only tickets are $300.
Of course I missed the presale so Sears selling out & im wondering if I got a seat, how far back is seating section. When you have such a big GA section in front of the seats. I would think everyone would have to stand by their seats anyway to see?
Anyone familiar w the venue please help! Thanks

Up front seating is assigned. I do not know about the bleachers.

Yes the drinks are free! But it is customary to tip the person bringing the drinks...

Those that have stayed at The Borgata and The Water Club-what are the differences in the rooms? Are the Water Club King rooms the same size as the Borgata rooms? Are the Borgata bathrooms as nice as the WC ones-large shower, separated toilet area?
We’ve only stayed at The Water Club but it won’t be available on our next trip.

Any hotel room in the Borgata are nice. Perhaps not as luxurious as the Water Club but they are very nicely appointed. Roomy and neat bathrooms. You can compare the rooms on the website which will state the size of the room and show pictures.

I do not think they have matinee shows. For that matter not much at all goes on during the day there.

We've been going to AC for 6 yrs, always staying at the Taj Chairman Tower. Thinking of trying the Borgota this September, booking a King, std room. We are staying at Caesars for a couple nights and thought the Marina area might be a nice change- any thoughts on this hotel/casino?

Lowered my Rating to 3 Stars.
Without any announcement that I have seen, the Slot Dollar reward has been reduced. It was 50% of Express Comps, now it is 40%. At check-in there were 2 seperate lines, one for Black Card holders. Now there are 2 card levels on the same line, increasing wait time. The same change has been made at the Buffet, again increasing wait time. On our prior trip, the TV in our suite was not working properly, (first time ever) and had to be reset after waitng 15+minutes on the phone to reach the Front Desk. Check-out by phone led to the same or more wait time on the phone to reach the Front Desk.
Consequently, I have lowered my rating to 3 Stars. In the past, I have always found the Borgata to be the best Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Unfortunately, now I am questioning that assessment.

What is the minimum age for entry into the casino?

Any age can enter the Borgata from infant to seniors, however if you want to gamble you must be 21. If you are under 21 you must stay on the marble flooring. No one under 21 can be on the carpeted area, as that is where the gambling areas are. Also if minors are with adults, the minors can not sit or linger on the marble floors while the adults gamble.
