‪إنه بالتأكيد يستحق الصعود إلى قمة المنارة. كان العامل هناك ودود للغاية وواسع المعرفة وأجاب على جميع أسئلتنا. المنظر رائع والتاريخ الذي ستتعلمه من جميع المعروضات رائع.‬

‪We stayed at Borgata Hotel Casino. This place is hugh with plenty of slots. The rooms were very clean and spacious as well as the casino itself. Loud vibrant colors and not cold like other casinos. The food was great. I did not go to the buffet although I wanted t. but the lines were always long. Beside upscale restaurants and bars there was a food court in the lower level as well as grab and go restaurants and a retail plaza with a Starbucks. The gambling was ok. We spent 3 hours at Harrahs Casino and Golden Nugget also. The gambling was much better there.‬

‪Climb to the top!‬

‪It is definitely worth the climb up to the top of the lighthouse. The worker up there was super friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The view is great and the history that you will learn from all of the exhibits is wonderful.‬

‪we climbed it and what an amazing views once you are on top. Tallest light house in NJ. It only cost as $18 the two of us because we got the $4 discount from the flyer. lots of steps before you can reach the top but its worth climbing‬

‪Needless to say that the view is great from up there. But, on a hot day it’s worth talking the 228 step up to the top to enjoy the cool breeze. It’s now too hard to get up there, I’m a 250 pound dude with spinal stenosis and it was really easy. The stairs are wide enough for people to cross each other Up/Down and there are 6 levels (plateaus) to stop/rest if you need to.
From the top, you will to see the original first-order Fresnel Lens, first lit in 1857. Hard to believe that this lens can amplifier a small kerosene lamp enough to be seen 23 miles away!‬

‪I enjoyed visitng the light house. It has a lot of history. It is free unless you want to climb to the top of it. ‬

‪I finally got to visit this lighthouse after it being closed many years ago. I've been to many of New Jersey's lighthouses and this was on my bucket list. It is a long way up the stairs and I am not in the shape I was 20 years ago but made it up to the top. Good thing there are rest stops along the way with window views. Great views from the top, but it was very windy up there and I couldn't stay too long. Winds were blowing 15-25 and it felt like a tropical storm up there. They have a small museum in lobby with the history of the lighthouse. I enjoyed the visit and will go to more lighthouses soon.‬

‪Tallest lighthouse in NJ‬

‪171 ft tall - 228 steps. There are landings where you can stop & catch your breath. When you get to the top, you can go outside & walk the circumference of the tower.‬

‪Summer sightseeing fun‬

‪We did a self guided tour starting with the garden and walked the grounds. We were told that the grounds can be rented for parties,weddings and other events. It was a hot day but we enjoyed our time at the light house. It was a pleasant learning experience.‬

‪Must see lighthouse ‬

‪I read about this so we decided to visit. The docents are friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't climb the lighthouse but you could. It didn't look like a tough climb. I recommend exploring. ‬

‪Worth seeing‬

‪Other than the boardwalk there's not a lot to see here. This is a decent walk straight up Rhode Island Ave off the boardwalk. Unfortunately it was closed early during my visit but it's still worth seeing.‬
