Drinks are expensive and bad, high cover for bad environment. dj was subpar at best. Might be better on a day when there is an event but if it's just a regular night don't even try!

Awful place. 1very rude service 2 the drinks and the cocktails are besical water. They let too many people in.
They cancel reservations last minute.

Would not recommend this place for tourist. Very rude staff and wanting money to enter. Very dissapointing. Would give 0 stars if I can. Go somewhere else.

I had an awful experience this Friday, I'm a regular customer at cjc since 1999, so I'm very well know there me and my wife, but last Friday they refused to let me and her enter the place with a very bad attitude from the door selector there, he's name is Fekry, telling me that I didn't make a reservation, although I'm a regular customer and I did try to reserve but no one answered the phone for 3 days and even they didn't reply on msn....
I'm really felt humiliation, and I guess the management have to do something with that and not to lose respected guests

Eravamo in vacanza per 2 gg al Cairo con un collega di lavoro ...curiosando sui siti per la vita notturna al Cairo ci siamo imbattuti sul Cairo Jazz club ..detto fatto un taxy e via anche se non eravamo sicuri di entrare perché, come molti locali al Cairo, è richiesta l entrata in coppia uomo /donna ...Ma a nostra sorpresa siamo entrati e ci siamo divertiti un mondo bevendo STELLA come se non ci fosse un domani!!!posto super consigliatissimo per turisti..molto accoglienti anche la crew..grazie ancora

This place was one of the best visits during my stay in Cairo. It was really interesting music, maybe not exactly the music I expected at a jazzclub but better! :-) cosy and friendly atmosphere. The only problem was getting in contact with them
In advance since it is required to book table before. Try through message on Facebook, that will be much easier than calling them.

I've been going to Cairo Jazz Club for so many years. It's a great place to party and to listen to live bands. The food is great. The only 2 issues are if you're not a regular, they don't let people in easily so make sure you have reservation before going bland the smoke can be unbearable as they allow smoking inside.

Great music in a real welcoming and friendly jazz bar. The place started in the early 90s and since then it delivers the best live jazz in town. We really enjoyed the Cairo Big Band tonight

You are one of the closest places to my heart, I love every single detail about you and how unique you are.
I love very much your unique decor, you always take me 10 years backward (which was the most beautiful era in my life), I like very much how your bands are so UNIQUE, it is rarely to find a live band always, and I admire the most the type of guest you have in house.
Maybe the only thing that irritates me the most is the time of showing up and waiting list, is it so confusing for me, and honestly I talk to you several time about showing up time, for me it is so hard to show up on 09:00 or 09:30 pm on Thursday night, I finish work at 06:00 and come one guys the party never start before 11:30 pm, so I believe if you made show up time 10:00 pm will be better ;)

It is not the first time I visit you and will never be the last time I come to you ;)
