Yesterday was my 3rd time in the Kadıköy Bazaar and since the last review was left almost a year ago I wanted to leave this review. If you have a question mark in your mind, this review will erase it all.
First of all, this bazaar is so gigantic that you can lost your way if its your first time there. There are household appliances, clothes, vegetables, fruits and so on. In other words, there is everything from soup to nuts.
The last time which was my second time I went there was December 2022 and I can genuienly say that the prices are almost twice as much now. For example, hoodies were 150 lira last year but now they are 250 lira. I bought one and I thought it was a great bargain. The fabric was thick so I felt like it was great value for that money (a similar one in a quality brand would be at least 600 lira).
I bought a fake Versace perfume and it was only 100 lira (100ml) but obviously its not persistent which is understandable as 100 lira for a perfume is not a lot of money. I also bought 2 Nike socks and I only paid 15 lira. There were a lot more things to buy but I had to limit myself so that was all my shopping.
BUT, unfortunately there is one nonignorable part of that bazaar that really disturbs me. In the second-hand part of that bazaar there are some things that should be in a trash dumpster. There are ragged shoes, used lipsticks, mascaras, nail polishes, foundation creams etc And they look absolutely diabolical. They look and simply are so unhygenic, dirty, and filthy.
Now I know and understand that these sellers are trying to make both their ends meet but these second-hand personal care products are absolutely nauseating. There are even empty perfumes that are waiting to be sold but I can't understand how anyone would buy them.
In a nutshell, the bazaar is quite handy but some of the items in the bazaar shouldn't be allowed to be there.

Very lively and crowded market selling vegetables, fruits etc with cheaper prices. Communication is quite difficult for foreigners as most of the sellers are only speak Turkish.

Had a great time here buying lots of bargains. Be careful of the sizing as not always what the label says.
We found most stall holders enjoyed trying their English on us and everyone had a smile. We didn't barter as prices were so cheap and if they were more than we waned to pay we just walked away.
We get there at 9am and although some stalls were still setting up it there wasn't the crowds, by lunch time you can't move .
All undercover doesn't matter about the weather
Flat so disabled friendly
Highly recommended

I like this local market :) lively and bustling.
Ready to visit Tarihi Salı Pazari, I wore my mask and brought hand disinfectant to feel safe especially this market is known to be the most crowded one in Istanbul. This market opens every Thursday and Friday from morning until 7 pm. From Kadıköy ferry stop, continue with bus 8A stop in Mandıra Caddesi.
What available: fresh vegetable and fruits, clothing, cosmetics, kitchen utensils, curtains, carpets, textile, antiques (only on Fridays), shoes, bags, bedsheet, and jewellery. There are lots of "original copy" of branded products with somehow-okay quality. With cheap price although some vendors complained on the increased price and the market was less crowded than before. Compare to other affordable clothing shops i.e in Çilek Sokak the price in Salı Pazari is cheaper by about 50%ish.

Her türlü yiyecek içecek giyim ihtiyaçlarınızı buradan karşılayabilirsiniz. Çanta ve cüzdanlarda dikkat etmeniz gerekmektedir.

Hi Can someone who recently visited Sali Pazari Kadekoy guide me for the directions to reach there from Sirkeci. Is it the best market to visit on Friday or is there any other market like this.

Yes the place is called "Tuesday Market" but it is open on Tuesdays and Fridays. Moreover Fridays are better to visit as on Tuesdays the stalls mainly sell vegetable and fruit while on Fridays you can find more things.
