My husband and I had such a wonderful experience. Everyone gets their own station and you can alter the meal however you want (more or less spice, etc). Our teacher was phenomenal. Her English was very good and you could tell she really loves what she does. I enjoyed going to the nearby market and picking out our ingredients. She teaches you how to pick the best ingredients with the perfect ripeness you’re looking for. In the classroom she shows you how to make the meal first and then you go to our station and make it! We made 4 dishes and they were all delicious. In the end you get to keep the recipes and they give you a souvenir bag with some of their curry products. Would recommend to everyone!

Dear Khun Alex, Big thank you for choosing us. Our Chefs adapt to all levels of knowledge of Thai cuisine. Master Chef Nooror's training is also attended by renowned chefs from around the world. Whatever the experience of each, our chefs want to teach the best. Our goal is that you can make our recipes at home. According to the wishes of our students, classes are offered in several languages including Thai, English, Chinese, French, Dutch etc. (please specify when booking). Now you know the way. Khun Alex we hope to see you again .

I had originally contacted the Oriental Hotel to do a class there, as it has recommended to me. The Oriental advised they weren’t running classes but recommended Blue Elephant. It says something that one of the most prestigious hotels in Bangkok recommended this.
The market tour was informative. Despite having coked Thai food for years, this enhanced my knowledge of what to look for, and what to avoid, when selecting produce.
I found the class a revelation. As we worked through the four dishes, the chef got us to taste the dishes in progress , and let us know how to correct any issues along the way. And when we got to make each of the dishes, instructors would check on our progress, and suggest adjustments along the way. To this extent, the ‘real time’ instruction was so much more than one could glean from a cookbook or video.
The class instructed on creating a red curry paste from scratch, then using it to cook a red sea bass curry. Other dishes were a marinated duck & lichee salad, stir-fried chicken with hot basil, and a hot and sour beef soup with herbs. Even with the stir-fry, I learned new tips and tricks.
The demonstration classroom was good, and the individual cooking stations were well-organised.
At over 3200 Baht per class, it’s not exactly cheap, but it’s great value for money. The teaching materials are excellent.
I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m planning to head back to Bangkok at the end of 2023, and plan to do another class whilst I’m there. In the meantime, I’m going to practice what I learned, and the extra tips and hints provided will allow me to explore other dishes.
I’d recommend this both for beginners, as well as more experienced cooks.

As you know, the cooking school of Blue Elephant occupies a large part of our building that is more than a century old. { BTS Surasak)
A large space that allows everyone to comfortably take the theoretical classes and then easily move to practice with the Chef in the specially equipped kitchen.
The cooking school is open 7 days a week.Morning market tour or Extra lesson for afternoon course
For each course 4 recipes and dishes are prepared.
The program is different every day, so some of our students sign up for several classes in order to learn more about Thai cuisine and perfect their techniques. All classes are conducted in English & Thai. French class is also upon request.
At the end of the course you you will share at the restaurant your food with the other students and will take home with you the recipes of Master Chef Nooror and a selection of Blue Elephant products to continue the culinary experience at home. Also a Blue Elephant bag and apron, and your certificate. A really great way to learn what you have found fantastic. this is an example and must be update according to your reservation day We look forward to seeing you again in 2023 to continue the experience. A fantastic morning spent at a local market in Bangkok, followed by cooking and eating some delicious Thai food. The supervision provided by Chef Chay was excellent and I’ve learnt so much!
All of the folks I met at Blue Elephant were really friendly and helpful - big thanks to our market tour guides too :)

Our goal is to have students participate in a real cooking workshop.
Share the culinary experience of our Chefs. A moment that we want very instructive and pleasant. The tour of the popular market is a real opportunity for everyone to discover with our Chefs the best local products and ingredients to best sublimate the dishes of Thai cuisine. For each class, several chefs from the Blue Elephant, often also Master Chef Nooror, work with the students. Our Chefs like to share their passion The cooking school can also be a family experience. We sometimes welcome families with young teenagers who are already passionate about Thai cuisine. Our Chefs' mission is to increase the level of knowledge and practice of each student. Besides, we also welcome many restaurant chefs in Thailand and abroad. From beginners to experienced, we welcome students of all levels. Our cooking school occupies an entire floor of the building housing the Blue Elephant Restaurant. レストランの味が習えるとの事で参加しました。
朝集合して先ずは電車で近くの市場へ見学に行きます
戻ってからクッキングスクール用の部屋に通され
初めに講師が作るところを見学し、
試食し、その後自分で作る。
といった一連の流れを4品分繰返します。
最後にレストランフロアで内で自分が作った料理を食べます。
(ライス、ドリンク、デザート付き)
講師が作ったお料理を試食した後に
自分の料理も食べるとなると
カナリお腹一杯なので、
半分以上持ち帰りにしてもらいました。
コロナ禍で安価な料理教室が全てクローズだったため、こちらを選びましたが
シッカリとしたキッチンスペースの設備。レストラン内での試食。
自分が使ったエプロンはお土産として持ち帰れる等を考慮すると
費用は妥当かなと思います。
曜日別でスクールのメニューが変わるそうなので、機会があればまた参加したいです。

Such a fun day! Chef Joe reviewed each recipe, demonstrated preparation so we could each taste and then into the prep kitchen to prepare the dish ourselves. Amazingly fresh and made me feel confident to make at home. Lovely meeting other travelers from around the world. Ideal day if you are traveling alone.

Practice, practice, practice ... that's our goal.
For each course, we aim that the students of the cooking school can realize 4 to 5 recipes of our Master Chef Nooror.
For the morning class, everything starts at the popular market near our school. Discovery of the products and our Chefs helps you select and choose them.
Back at the school a brief theoretical course and then very quickly you will be cooking on your own under the guidance of our Chefs.
A moment of adventure!
Then it will be time to taste and share your dishes with the other students.
At the end of the course you will take home with you the recipes of Master Chef Nooror and a selection of Blue Elephant products to continue the culinary experience at home. Also a Blue Elephant bag and apron, and your certificate.

Nous avons passé une demi-journée captivante,intéressante et ludique au cœur de l’apprentissage d’un repas Thaï de haut vol.
Une vrai expérience débutée par l’achat des ingrédients au marché local de pukhet .
Ensuite grâce à la passion ,la patience et l’expertise de Molly, nous avons préparé un repas que nous avons ensuite dégusté dans la cadre enchanteur du restaurant de phuket !
Pas trop complexe pour les débutants que nous sommes tout en étant suffisamment exigeant pour les passionnés avertis,nous avons passé un moment formidable et impérissable !
Une vrai expérience débutée par l’achat des ingrédients au marché local de pukhet .
Ensuite grâce à la passion ,la patience et l’expertise de Molly, nous avons préparé un repas que nous avons ensuite dégusté dans la cadre enchanteur du restaurant de phuket !

Merci beaucoup d'avoir partagé votre expérience à l'école de cuisine Blue Elephant à Phuket Town. Chef Molly, Chef Nooror et nos équipes vous remercient.
A l'école de cuisine nous nous adaptons au niveau de connaissance de chaque participant afin que l'élève puisse progresser immédiatement et acquérir un savoir-faire. Notre objectif est d'offrir un programme de qualité avec des produits haut de gamme.
Vous l'avez vu, l'école de cuisine est l'occasion de poser toutes les questions possibles. Pour nos Chefs, il n'y a jamais de mauvaise question, bien au contraire.
Lors du marché du matin, les participants apprennent à choisir les herbes, sélectionnent les légumes, découvrent les secrets des currys... sans doute ce sont là les clés pour préparer les meilleurs plats à partager avec vos proches.
A la fin du cours, chacun reçoit un certificat, un tablier et un sac Blue Elephant, ainsi qu'un ensemble de nos produits et les recettes de notre Master Chef Nooror. Vous êtes prêt pour de nouvelles expériences dans votre propre cuisine.

We felt like we had been transported to a wonderful world of aromas, tastes and Chef Noroor’s stories - while at the same time feeling very much at home. She and all the staff at Blue Elephant were warm and welcoming and generous. They did a special vegetarian menu for us - gorgeous flower-shaped truffle dumplings, southern curry and lotus-wrapped rice, plus a bonus lesson in making a Thai iced tea. Our girls (aged 10 and 7) loved every moment too. We ended by enjoying our own cooking in the beautiful restaurant. One of the most memorable experiences of our time in Thailand - will try to do another course online!

SNSでクッキングスクールが再開したと知って参加。
まだタイは観光客が入国できないこともあって参加者は少数でしたが、かえって丁寧に教えてもらえて良かったです。
朝のクラスに参加しましたが、集合の後マーケットに行って食材を購入。小さなマーケットですが、途中タイティーを飲みながらのマーケット歩きはローカル感満載で楽しい!!
その後レストランに戻って実習。本格的タイ料理の作り方を教えてくれます。
辛さや甘さは個人ごとに調節可。おいしくいただいて来ました。
楽しい上にエプロンやお土産もついて、とても満足感のある半日でした。
男性でも楽しいと思いますよ。

I'm so glad I took this cooking class. Paul was our chef and absolutely phenomenal.
We started off by going to some local markets where we learned about local produce. We also went to a local coffee/tea stand and tried authentic Thai coffee or tea. Before heading back to the cooking school, we went to a curry market and learned how they make curry from scratch.
The cooking class itself was really fun. Paul cooked each recipe for us before we each made the food. We all got to try his version of everything and it all tasted phenomenal.
After we'd cooked everything, the four of us who took the class together sat in a secluded area of the dining room and ate our food. I had so much fun chatting with the other students and eating incredible food that I made.
I loved this cooking class and would absolutely take another one if I return to Bangkok.

We are glad we took the course while staying in Bangkok. Super friendly staff, top notch equipement and easy cooking even without any cooking experience. We prepared five tasty dishes (Curry, Fish, soup, noodles and Dessert) and ate it after class in the wonderful decorated and very traditional restaurant. Highly recommended!!
