We did a three-day safari to Murchison Falls and Bryan was our driver/guide. We were impressed by his timeliness, driving skills and professional attitude. Next to that we had a lot of fun together. We were with family members that had never been to Africa before, and this tour was in every sense a wonderful introduction for them.

Flo organised a trip that was perfect for my special interest in primates and visiting the chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and gorillas in Bwindi were experiences I'll never forget (I'd like a job as a chimpanzee tracker for the Uganda Wildlife Authority!). The accommodation in Kibale and Bwindi were excellent, both providing very comfortable en suite accommodation with welcome showers after the days trekking; staff were very friendly and food tasty and filling. The highlight at Kibale Forest Camp was viewing the black-and-white colobus monkeys in the canopy above my chalet while the views of the rainforest from Rushaga Gorilla Camp in Bwindi were spellbinding. I also enjoyed the village walk in Bwindi where I met the headteacher of the local school along with the wonderful children.
Central to the success of the trip was being escorted so expertly by Brian who drove across Uganda while telling me the interesting history of each kingdom, its peoples and customs. Brian was very friendly and polite throughout the trip, pointing out the different types of cultivation and ecosystems as we travelled west from Kampala and I'm consequently much more well-informed about life in Uganda. In fact, everyone I met in Uganda was so friendly, polite and welcoming and I'd certainly like to return to spend some time teaching while spending more time in Uganda's wonderful national parks

I cannot say enough good things about Primate Watch Safaris! Everything was fantastic from the first email to Flo, to the last day with our tour guide, Ben. We did a 9 day safari around Uganda and my husband and I couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have chosen PWS.
Flo always responded to my emails promptly, answered all my questions (and I had a TON), and was always polite and professional! She was happy to make any changes we wanted, and adjust our trip to reflect the things we wanted to do and see. We got some of the best rooms everywhere we stayed (right by the river, or in the brand new section, for example), and I don’t think it was just a coincidence. She even called us during our tour to check in and see how everything was going. Not that she needed to- everything was wonderful.
Our tour guide Ben was truly amazing. He has a vast knowledge of the parks, animals, and the whole country. His keen eyes helped us spot many animals we would have completely missed- in the parks and on the road. He was always willing to stop for us to take photos (and even stopped to teach us about how some food is grown and show us up close!), and shared a lot of interesting information along the way. And when we left a camera in the vehicle on our last day, Ben drove all the way back to our hotel to give it to us before our flight on his DAY OFF! It is a direct result of having him as a guide that we got to see tree-climbing lions (we know because we saw other guides give up on the lions!) and were assigned to a great gorilla tracking group. We have only wonderful things to say about him. Really.
We had such an amazing trip because of Primate Watch Safaris and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone visiting East Africa. You won’t be disappointed!

I went to Uganda for 2 weeks in September 2017 and spend a year planning. Thanks to the great advice I received from Trip Advisor members, I took their advice and contacted several local Ugandan tour operators. After pinning down my itinerary I sent it out to several and decided to go with Primate Watch. All the tour operators I communicated with were responsive and courteous. But Flo really tipped the scales for us and the trip was flawless. Our guide was Ben who I loved and he made our safari the best it could be. He was patient (we stopped A LOT for photos) and genuinely concerned about our happiness and enjoyment. He also knew where all the best toilets were and how long it would be until we got to the next one!! I have referred two other couples to Primate Watch (one has completed their trip and one leaves in a few months) and they are also very happy with their experience with Primate Watch. I can't recommend them more highly.

We recently did a trip with PWS with Ben as our driver/guide. Flo was such a delight to deal with. She was both responsive and helpful throughout the process. Ben was a careful driver, always on time, and obviously loved his job. We're glad that we went with PWS.

I can not say enough about how good they did on my trip. I contacted about five different companies about what I wanted to do and see. Because of the reviews here on trip advisor and Flo's responses I choose Primate Watch. I picked my own places to stay due to location for wildlife and cost. Flo always was understanding to my needs and was pleasant to deal with. I picked them even though I had lower prices from others and I am happy I did. Ben the driver/guide is simply the best, always thinking about what was best for me, great guy and I will call him my friend now, he loves what he does.

I've owed them a review for 2 years but here it is (visit was in August 2015). Even though the trip was 2 years ago, I have no problem remembering every moment. It was a trip I will remember for the rest of my life. Primate Watch Safaris was excellent and one of the reasons I went with them is because they had good reviews for responsiveness. They handled all the organization and did an excellent job. The price was good as well. What really put the trip over the top, though, was our guide, Ben. Ben's the type of person who would succeed at whatever he chose to do. He's extremely kind and would have been excellent if all he was doing was driving us around. But Ben knows EVERYBODY. This is good because he can ask where to find things. Some people say that the lions climb tries in Queen Elizabeth and he knows where to find these people and where they say the lions are. I honestly don't have enough good things to say about him. I would definitely recommend the company and wouldn't hesitate to go with them in the future.

If you want to see Chipms and really enjoy it go for habituation experience. You need to stay overnight and start next day 6:30, it takes 6-7h and you are back to Kampala at dusk.
Primate Watch has organized everything perfectly, even if my schedule was changing until very last moment. Picked me at 2am, driven to Kibale Forest Camp (nice place) and next day I had Chimp Experience
Primate Watch is very responsive and one can pay credit card via PayPesa.

My wife and I booked a gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi Forest with Primate Watch and were extremely pleased with the services we received. The trip was particularly tricky, as my wife uses a wheelchair. But for an added fee we were able to have porters carry her with the group into the forest and she got as close to the gorillas as the rest of us. Our driver (Ben) was good and the accommodations (Haven Lodge) solid. One of the highlights of our 6 weeks in East Africa.

פניתי לחמש חברות באוגנדה בבקשה לארגן טיול לשישה ימים. התכנון שהחזירה פלורנס (פלו) היה הטוב ביותר ואיפשר לנו לבקר במקומות שהושמטו בשאר החברות. המדריך/נהג ג'ון היה מקסים, אחראי ביותר וידען. קיבלנו כל מה שהובטח ונהנינו מכל רגע. ממליץ בחום. דרור.
