Great experience! The guides were very nice and everything was well arranged. The hike and the view were amazing.

I would highly recommend booking your trip with Atlas and Sahara Tours for an authentic Moroccan experience. From our initial enquiries, to the end of our trip Mustapha was extremely helpful and always responded to enquiries quickly. He set up a WhatsApp group so we could keep in contact during our trip. The trip was good value.
We travelled with our daughters aged 13 and 15 in Feb half term. The Easter holiday would be a better time to visit for the weather. We stayed in Marrakesh for two days before travelling through the Atlas Mountains. We visited Ait Ben Haddou, stayed at Riad Babylon Dades, with a stunning view from our balcony, went on camel rides and stayed in the dessert camp overnight & then onto hiking in the Altas Mountains. Due to snow preventing our planned hike, we decided to return to Marrakesh for our last day. We requested the change to our itinerary at 09:30 and by 11:00 Mustapha had arranged a car to collect us and booked us into a riad in Marrakesh.
Our drivers and your guides were all lovely, helpful and friendly. I would recommend making sure you’re aware of the duration of car journeys in advance of your trip, as we’re were shocked how long we spent travelling one day. The breakfasts and tagines are tasty, but there is little variety outside of Marrakesh.

From start to finish all good and no complaints. This is our 3rd trip with Atlas and Sahara always well organised. Omar excellent guide. Mustapha always flexible and willing to accomodate

This was a family trip to Morocco that could not be beat! Mustapha led our enitre trip- our highlights included a Sahara walk on camel and into a fantastic camp for the night, and also a visit the Atlas Mountains where we stayed at the Riad Jnane Imlil. Incredible experience with Global Basecamp and specifically with our tour guide, Mustapha. We would absolutely recommend this experience!

Wow what a Trip Mustafa arranged.
Hussein led the horses.. he was amazing guy.
Mohammad was our private driver. Fantastic guy.
Amazing Tagines food on the Rooftop.

This was my second holiday arranged by Mustapha, which included a few nights at the Riad Jnane Imlil before and after a private guided trek of a week. It did not disappoint. Mustapha is an excellent host, providing a warm welcome at the beautiful, clean and comfortable Riad. All the staff are friendly and excellent good value meals are home cooked using locally sourced, fresh ingredients by chef Omar. Our trek this year was for seven days in 'undiscovered Morocco', travelling through Berber villages, seeing local life, meeting very friendly local people and not seeing any other trekkers. Our Guide Omar was very patient, (I am over 60 and very slow), caring, knowledgeable, humorous and the ultimate professional. He was ably assisted by mule handler and camp cook Samr, who managed to cook delicious 3 course meals in the middle of nowhere. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company, five star from start to finish.

3-day Atlas Mountain Marrakech to Fes with camel ride and stay in Berber tent
Our driver Rachid was a fantastic guide! So full of interesting facts, helpful friendly and a very safe driver! We loved this trip and feel we got a great understanding of Morocco! The accommodations- Hotel Panorama and The Berber camp were absolutely perfect! If you have a chance to do this, do it! And ask for Rachid as your driver- you won’t be sorry!

Very enjoyable 2-day trek in the Atlas Mountains. Mustapha was an excellent guide and tailored the hikes to our level. The accommodation Jnane Imlil was very comfortable. Would recommend.

Fantastic trip expertly organised. We are a family of 4 and spent 4 days trekking in Imlil and climbing Toubkal. We had a wonderful guide who looked after our 6 and 8 year old like his own family, keeping everyone safe, happy and relaxed and getting us to the summit! We were spoiled with our own cook who provided delicious meals. We had incredibly kind and thoughtful service every step of the way. The riad Jnane in Imlil is stunning (also with a very talented chef), one night there was too short a stay. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be asking Mustafa to plan our next Morocco trip!

My girlfriend and I just returned from a private 3 day hiking trek in the Atlas mountains. We both loved our time in the mountains and thought everyone involved in making our stay wonderful was excellent at their jobs. Mustapha coordinated our trip and was always so helpful and kind. The Riad we stayed in in Imlil was beautiful and the food we ate every day (vegetarian) was delicious. We both highly recommended this company. Very well run with amazing Moroccan hospitality!

My wife and I will be in your lovely country for one week beginning July 29 and would like to know if it’s possible to trek the mountains and experience the Sahara in that time frame?
If so, would we have to pack heavy from Canada or will your tour provide us with whatever we need?

You should be ok with one week. Sahara camping tours are generally 3 to 5 days so you should be able to find a tour operator to arrange one for you specifically. If you email Atlas and Sahara Tours they will let you know the details.

I am not from the company I simply took a school trip to Morocco through this company. If you go to their website type in Atlas and Sahara tours tailor-made tours the first website on google and get in contact with them directly, they will get back to you as soon as they can. They are an amazing company and you will not be disappointed at all.
