From what I understand, there is also a museum on the 5th floor of the same building.However, we chose this on the first floor. You are greeted by women in period dresses. The entrance fee is modest.Wander freely around and explore the interiors of the different rooms and note all the novelties that we take for granted today.

This is a redecorated house or apartment in the art nouveau stumble. Lots of beautiful pieces from art nouveau era,the staff are wearing the clothes from that period etc. worth a visit.

It's a bit of a childhood taste. Visit to grandparents and all their treasures. Very nice museum in the form of a fully furnished and furnished apartment with everyday objects. Elegant also in period costumes. See also the exhibitions in the basement and the videos. The beautiful staircase of course.

Spent a wonderful hour exploring this stunning building. Staff, in period costume are knowledgeable and friendly. A highlight of our visit to Riga

Interesting building with many antiques inside. The stairwell was the highlight of the place for me though. I feel like you have to check both inside and outside to appreciate this place.

This museum is well curated and there is a routine of what to see first and second, the staff (who know English) was helpful in guiding us! Interesting to see the displays and walk through the replicated house from the early 1900s. Also walk around the neighborhood outside because there are so many art nouveau buildings to admire!

Even when you enter the same street, you are struck by all the fantastic buildings in Art Nouveau style. Once inside you are met by the incredibly beautiful stairwell. The employees were nice and it was also fun that they were dressed in contemporary garments. The exhibition itself was well planned with a review of each room, its features and interesting details before walking around the apartment itself.

Beautiful building in Riga. We entered and walked up the steep beautiful staircase to the top , which is actually an artists old apartment. We paid and had a look round and then went back down to the museum . It’s quite interesting really and showed the way people were living around that time . Well worth an hour …

The small Art Nouveau museum is located in a boulevard, one house more beautiful than the other. The staircase alone is incredible! A complete Art Nouveau apartment in its original condition is shown. You can take photos of yourself in different "costumes" (coats, hats) for a small amount of money, print them out or have them sent by mail.

можно ли туда без экскурсии, просто вдвоем,сразу же попасть, без записи. Часы и дни работы.

Попасть без экскурсии можно, мы гуляли сами. Вот информация с сайта рижских музеев :
ежедневно с 10:00 до 18:00, вторник - выходной.Стоимость билетов:с 1 мая по 30 сентября - 5 евро, семейный билет (два взрослых плюс два школьника) - 7,5 евро, студенты - 3,5 евро. С 1 октября по 31 апреля - 3,5 евро, семейный билет - 7,5 евро, студенты - 2,5 евро. Тур с гидом (30 минут) - 14,5 евро, аудиогид - 7,5 евро.
