Surprised on entering to see the variety of park goodies, for young and old.
Playgrounds, little kids traffic bike area, basketball courts, oval, BBQ, seats and forest area.
Heaps of families laughing and relaxing. I’m sure many are regular.

Great spot to keep the young ones busy and active with numerous play apparatus to keep them occupied. Was busy because it is so good yet plenty activities to chose from. Big ✔️

When meeting up with friends and their kids for a play we always choose the train park. The new bike play area is great but was super busy. We managed to get a table too so we could take our snacks and relax.

Healthy park healthy people! The popularity speaks for itself! To see schools bringing children here, many families with children, Tai Chi groups, big bicycle groups from various clubs... wow wow wow! Such a well used and popular park! The council is so responsible to people’s needs that this place is getting better by the day! More bbqs ( please take your rubbish home), more seating, more shelters to allow busy children to rest in between the busy day at the bicycle school, the huge locomotive playground, the adventure playground, the skating and climbing structures.... and many more! There is an oval next to it to chill out too! Well done Knox! More trees and open spaces please to encourage outdoors in other areas is needed!!

Awesome playground for kids and older people who just want to relax. A old steam train on site not very clean but as you would expect.

My local park I call the Bayswater Train Park and it is well worth the visit........it has everything a child needs with all forms of playground equipment and being able to climb on an old red steam engine really gets their imagination running......it also has a great picnic area with BBQ's and plenty of green open space to run around......don't forget to bring the basketball, tennis racquets and balls as there is an area to use these as well....you can even take a walk or bike ride along the Dandenong Creek ..... ideal spot for family/friends catch up with the kids...FYI....if you forget something the shops are close by

Well designed indeed ! This park caters to the needs of a big cross section of the community ! Parking is just devine! Being so close to the train station is just so welcoming! To have many cycling tracks around the longest creek in Melbourne ( Dandenong Creek) is just insane! So close to the hills, Mary Wallace Park makes it so inviting with so many kids attractions like the spider climber, the wooden playground, the climbing bars and skate park totally decorated by our local street artists last week, The exercise station with a roof for all weather (witnesses Tai Chi being practiced here most mornings and everyone is welcome!), bbq facilities, Bayswater oval... Bayswater town centre.... it’s a well planned park indeed! How can I pen off without mentioning the red locomotive in the middle of it all!!

awesome place to take the young family great playground, BBQ lots of space. my grand kids had a blast running around on all the equipment
