la scuola ha una location unica molti servizi garantiti . parcheggio privato, doccia,servizio in spiaggia,zona relax etc. gli istruttori sono tutti qualificati e brevettati. grazie anche allo stagnone si puo' imparare il kitesurf in poche ore.

I stayed for 8 days in this location and there is no wind. The chances of getting long periods of time without wind is huge in this place. I wasted my holiday just to sit on a rock and wait for the wind. Not worth it.

We kiteboarded with Sicily Kite School at Lo Stagnone in June and returned again to kiteboard with them in August. The owners, instructors and crew are amazing, friendly and so patient and we are most grateful to Filippo, Erasmo, JJ, Mowgli, Sunny and the kite assistants for making our time at Lo Stagnone, the most wonderful experience. They were able to lift our kite experience to a much higher level and develop us as more independent and confident kiters.Their rental equipment are new and well maintained and they are always at hand to offer advice on kite size based on wind conditions. They are always honest with the wind conditions, do not seek to make a quick buck and genuinely want their students to improve. We would highly recommend them and are earnestly looking forward to returning next year to kite with them.

Nous avons pu découvrir un sport avec de vrais PRO qui parlent FRANÇAIS (c'est rare) mais aussi Italien, Anglais, espagnole,.En famille avec enfants (de 12 à 17 ans) en groupe et en parfaite sécurité. Si vous aimez l'ambiance "POINT BRAKE" à la Patrick Swayze c'est là qu'il faut aller. Avec beaucoup d'écoute et de concentration on monte vite sur la planche et vraiment on peut devenir autonome très vite. Bravo à toute l'équipe

Sono tornata in questa scuola di Kitesurf per la seconda volta, perché ne avevo un ottimo ricordo, istruttori preparati con un facile e sicuro metodo d’insegnamento, scuola ben organizzata e simpaticamente gestita con ampia scelta di attrezzature, quindi, anche quest’anno, tutto lo staf non ha tradito le mie aspettative. Grazie di tutto e a prestooooo!!

I ragazzi della scuola sono meravigliosi molto preparati e disponibili un ringraziamento particolare a Silena la mia istruttrice e compagnia di risate.
Nella scuola si possono trovare kite di tutte le misure che tavole sia da freestyle che altri generi
Gli istruttori di seguono in acqua anche con delle radio per avere le miglior prestazioni

Spot super, que ce soit pour les débutants ou les indépendants. Mille mercis à Roberto qui m’a donné 8h de cours avec professionnalisme et patience (et en français), c’était génial !

For learning kite surfing it's a really good school and kite spot. The staff is very friendly. I've been there in May for some sessions and I'm satisfied with everything. Especially my instructor Nik, he showed always a lot of patience to me and he's a very funny and nice guy. That place I can highly recommend!

The kite school is on the first floor, where there is also a kite-shop and a bar and a restaurant are on the ground floor. The responsible of the station was very friendly and suggested me private lessons (60€/h material included) since I had been trying to kitesurf 5 years before. I was in Lo Stagnone from 9 to 22 April: unfortunately over the whole period there were only 3 days over 12 knots! During 2 of them (26 and 19 kts) I took kite lessons with the instructors Silena and Nicolas who had both enough patience with me, an old untalented windsurfer! At the end I managed to navigate for a couple of meters. But on the third day with wind (19 kts) I rented a windsurf board to have some pleasure again!
The Laguna is really great for its flat and shallow water (you can walk everywhere!) with almost no waves, also for windsurfers (but watch out for rocks and other things on the ground which could damage the fin!). On the other hand, there is only very few space on the land (lot of other kiters and few grass) so I wonder how a beginner can learn launching and directing his kite. I don't see where you can learn to start in the sand and do exercises on the beach.
Birgi Vecchi is very lost, you absolutely need a car. Only very few restaurants in walking distance and no stores. I was also disappointed from the other restaurants: I've had better food in Italy (for ex. on Garda Lake) and more cozy places. Most of them were not heated and were very chilly! Also too cold / windy to sit in a bar outside in the evening.
Even with a car you get bored after a few days: most of the major tourist attractions of Sicily (Etna, Vulcano, Scala dei Turchi...) are too far! You can visit the salines, Palermo, San Vito Lo Capo, the Zingaro National Park, Marsala, Trapani (not very nice).
So: in a warmer season probably a great place if you want to learn or improve kitesurfing but nothing else (and if there is wind!).

tanto vento... ma perfetto per volare... punto strategico vicinissimo alle saline.. vedere tutti questi colori svolazzare in cielo al tramonto è stato bellissimo.
