Demetris Chara a family run business doing boat trips from Latchi Harbour to the Blue Lagoon, Cyprus. 2 times a day.
There are a few boats in Latchi Harbour all going to the blue lagoon but none like Demetris Chara. We stay longer to enjoy more. We sail from Latchi along the Akamas coast. It's so beautiful. Words can not describe. Then at the Blue Lagoon we fire up our traditional Cypriot BBQ.

We went on the wine tasting experience and had a super time!
The best thing about this trip is you are not packed in. Loads of room and place to seat for the whole trip.
Great tasty food and bar to get drinks whenever you want.
The wine tasting itself, Gerry is the loveliest person I have met and is made for her job! A great and memorable experience:)

The boat tour and swimming and the lagoon was very nice. Unfortunately, a larger group who were grovelling and drunk messed up the stay. You could only go below deck if you didn't want to splash alcohol or escape the noise

We were picked up from hotel and taken to the location. The boat was big holding quite a few people. Saw staff when got on otherwise they were pretty scarce. When we stopped there was no order, health and safety non- existent from other boat trips I have done around the world. The equipment was old worn and did not want to use. You had to ask for life jackets these were not readily available when getting off the ship. There was no member of staff helping people on and off and watching to see if anyone was in trouble. It was chaotic people jumping off the back sides and top deck.
The food was good and adequate. We paid a lot more than needed to, as offered €8 less on here than anywhere else. Family wise I would look at a more safety conscious company

We made a very nice and pleasant boat trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lunch on board was well catered for. Very nice to see that the fish were waiting for the pieces of chicken that were left. They swooped in with a whole school. Also seen a barracuda. Swimming in the blue lagoon is a very beautiful and unique experience. The water is so beautiful blue and clear. Will definitely be back here.

The experience of Demetris Chara BBQ boat is incredible. There is nothing quite like the blue lagoon. The delicious generous portions of souvla after you’ve gone for a swim in the blue lagoon just makes this boat cruise the best one!! Just go! You won’t regret it

Captin and crewmen were extremely welcoming, very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful bbq food with lots of choice.
Gorgeous views.

The staff is wonderful and is always ready to meet every need of guests.
Spacious and comfortable boat with plenty of drinks and snacks.
The two and a half hour stop at blue lagoon is something spectacular. I've never seen such blue water in my life.
Abundant and excellent food.
Highly recommended.

We recently visited The blue Lagoon in Cyprus on board of Demetris Chara,it was an amazing trip with a friendly crew and the top of the cherry was the amazing and professional sommelier Gergana. She showed real enthusiasm and professional knowledge and made our trip the best. The wine tasting was amazing experience.

I recently enjoyed a delightful boat trip that featured an exquisite wine tasting experience. The setting was picturesque, and the selection of wines was impressive. Gergana was extremely friendly and kind. Really good professional, deff recommend.
