We wanted to get to know the place freely and took a bus at Lisboa Sete Rios station (there are direct to Fatima every 30 min and the travel time is 1:30 hs). We went to make a very special order and were really fascinated and moved by the climate that lives there. The (historic) Basilica is wonderful and the atmosphere amazing. We participate in a mass in the Basilica of the Trinity (new) that is gigantic and then walk (half an hour) along the path of the Via Sacra to know the houses of the little shepherds. A walk loaded with emotions, highly recommended.

Nice place, interior is perfect, super detailed. Outside, a huge place, look at the track from the distant points if you have no idea of the size.

We visited the shrine during a trip to the central part of Portugal. The visit of the old church where the tombs of the three shepherd children are located is suggestive. For the rest a little cold environment in the huge square and in the new church that has more the appearance of a theater. Obviously many commercial activities that for obvious revolve around.

Entering the big square, you cannot be in awe of the massiveness of it all. Bigger than the Vatican, this square stands out by size.
The church itself was impressive from the outside, quite modest on the inside. Have to say I was a little underwhelmed by the church itself.
The parking is plenty (especcially at the back of the church). There are numerous picknick tables near the parking area behind the church and the public toilets next to the campervan parking behind the church are about the cleanest I’ve ever visited.

I visited many sacred places, including St. Peter's in Rome, but here I felt indescribable emotions. We arrived with the Sunday Mass in progress outdoors and at the end we witnessed the Procession of the Statue of Our Lady that from the altar where the Mass was celebrated was brought back to the Chapel of the Apparitions, moments that gave many wonderful emotions.

This was one-off the holliest places we ever visited. My wife and I had a wonderful experience attending the rosary and procession. Is starts at 2130 hrs everyday and ends at about 2300 hrs. You feel the presence of Mother Mary in this place where she appeared 100 years ago.

No site do Santuário informam a programação, as vezes eles cancelam, mas avisam com antecedência, por outro lado, a confirmação de ter a procissão pode ocorrer poucos dias antes da data. O horário contudo é sempre o mesmo: 21h30, após a leitura de um terço completo (que eles chamam Rosário, mas não é repetido 3x, apenas uma).

Pelo que li em um site, terá que pegar um táxi. Ainda segundo essa informação do site, a viagem de táxi entre a estação e o santuário dura aproximadamente 30 minutos. Não posso confirmar se a informação está atualizada. Quando estive em Portugal, aluguei um carro em Lisboa, o que me deu uma excelente mobilidade em Fátima. O trânsito em Fátima é muito bom e os estacionamentos públicos são gratuítos e bem organizados. De carro entre Fátima e Lisboa são aproximadamente 120km, com excelentes rodovias.

Hola. Sinceramente no lo sé . El santuario es muy grande y tal vez. Hablando con las chicas de la sacristía que está adentro o de la librería podrían ayudarte. Pero no lo sé .
