We stayed three days in Parma, concentrating on the historic center only. It is a good walking city, many beautiful and interesting sites to visit. Great restaurants, local cuisine and wine are superlative. Stay in the historic center, you'll not need a car until you leave for your next destination.

This marvellous theatre to day is not an ordinary theatre but ONLY a fantastic museum ,a unique example of a Court theatre built in the XVII c. to astonish Cosimo De Medici who was expected to visit Parma. Only ONCE a few years ago on the occasion of VERDI FESTIVAL a couple of Verdi's operas were performed. Therefore nothing is on now BUT you can expect to ENJOY one of the most beautiful sights you can ever think of.
