Nice shop with some beautiful sculptures & jewellery for sale. The prices were extortionate, but staff were very friendly.
Even with the prices as high as they were, the pieces of art they have up for grabs are a superior quality.

A visit on way to the historical site of Pompeii attended by the tour company. There were a lot of us trying to listen and watch the short demonstration of the art work carried out here. The young lady giving the talk was good and took some time to ensure everyone could hear her. After this we were lead to the shop area where staff were on hand to sell you some of their work. The Cameo's were beautiful.
While here we had been told by our guide to use their rest rooms as there would not be another opportunity to do so on the tour. The rest rooms were very busy but clean and functional. The most interesting part of our stop here was watching the divers manoeuvring their cars in and out of the carpark area in front of the gallery, it was very small, a courtyard really and lots of people standing around a real surprise spectacle to watch.

We were allowed to go to this shop when on a cruise. During this COVID time shopping is very limited so we could only shop as specific places. I was looking for some earrings for the sisters and the sales person just kept saying i will make you a good deal. issue 1 not a good deal she said at the end after i had spent 520 euros the good deal was to give me the VAT tax back about 62 euros. issue 2 when i got to the register to pay they took the money from my credit card but oh no were unable to issue the tax credit to my credit card. so they gave me the receipt and told me to take care of it at the airport. Well i was in italy and my departure was from Spain so that does not work. SO what was going to be some deal was a rip off.
In addition for what is supposed to be top of the line quthentic merchandise cameos and corals there is no certificate of authenticity given with the purchase.

Spent some time in the gallery as we were on our own for a tour of Pompeii and not rushed by a group. Not particularly high pressure to buy. Commissioned 2 cameos from pictures we brought with us to be exported to us when made by one of their master craftsmen. Cameos were magnificent and very true to the portrait pictures. Also got an amazing cameo bracelet for my wife, Again excellent quality.
Had problems with tax refund for purchase of bracelet . Ensure you get refund while in Italy.

En un ambiente distinguido y minimalista se puede apreciar desde la tarea del escultor y, por supuesto los materiales con que trabaja, hasta la exposición de increíbles camafeos, realizados con minuciosidad y virtuosismo. En la galería se ofrecen a la venta las más variadas joyas, cuyos precios escapan a la generalidad de los turistas, que, a veces desorientados, llegan buscando los sanitarios ( que son fantásticos)

Located at the entrance of the archeological ruins of Pompeii. We had the opportunity to see a craftsman at work on a piece and then had a look around the finished work and purchase or not - no pressure applied.

Interesting to be able to see the artisans at work, both over their shoulder and close up on a video monitor. A little too pricey for our taste, but we learned the different levels of prices based on the level of the artists, from trainee to journeyman to expert. Quite a gallery of objects from every level of artisans.

For our 40th wedding anniversary, my wife wanted a cameo instead of rubies. When we heard there was a cameo gallery in Pompeii (part of our excursion from our Disney cruise) we knew we had to go there. We watched as an artist worked on carving a cameo and listened to an explanation of the process. We then went into the shop. Wow! My wife selected a beautiful pair of cameo earrings to complement her cameo brooch. Once you see how these are carved, you understand why they are not inexpensive.

Explications dès l'entrée de la fabrication des camées . On comprend rapidement que le but est de vendre et si possible les pièces chères situées dès l'entrée .
Pas trop apprécié cette approche commerciale .
L'endroit est très propre et comporte des W.C.
Fraicheur des lieux appréciée après une visite sous une grosse chaleur .

I bought a beautiful cameo bracelet here. It was definitely something I would not have found elsewhere, that's why I purchased it. Many different designs other than the traditional "woman".
