Although Bibury is a pretty village. The amount of traffic running through the village is massive. I found it to be unsafe especially with large crowds.
The toilets facilities was certain below average the smell and cleanliness was awful.
Car parking was a nightmare

What a picturesque little river running trough Bibury. Very English scenery with the lush vegetation and swans and bridges.

In fact the part of river we’ve seen was between the Trout farm, the Swan Hotel and the Arlington street. Quiet river, full of life (fishes, swans, ducks). In nice weather you can see how clear the water is. Time spent in this village makes you go back for about 200 years.

The Cotswolds is an absolute must when visiting England. Many small, old English towns, typical houses, beautiful nature, as if you are in another time in another world. Beautiful to walk here

Visit the quintessential chocolate box town of Bibury, take a stroll along the river, and marvel at the picturesque cottages that line the streets.
You can visit the trout farm or the Swan Hotel for a bite to eat.

The river rapidly runs through the very picturesque village and with its swans, ducks & geese provides a lovely backdrop to the village.
There is a commercial trout farm on the Main Street, and over the road it flows into a lake before continuing on after that.
You can’t really miss it when visiting, and most of the available public car parking is located adjacent to it.

You will spot the river Coln while taking the walks in Bibury. It is very clear and there are swans around.

The River Coln winds its way very lazily thought Bibury. The water is crystal clear with ducks and trout enjoying the stream. There are some paths along the River leading to Arlington Row, as well as some beautiful fields and stone bridges. Everywhere you look is picture-perfect.

You can walk the 5 minutes from the trout farm to Arlington Row alongside this "river" and you do get excellent views across it from the road (on its other side) towards the trout farm.

Visited here when we stopped off at the pretty village of Bibury and Arlington Row. Lovely fast flowing chalk trout beck, teeming with trout of may sizes and with lots of lush watercress and other plants growing along it. Lovely spot in Bibury, just to sit and watch the trout and admire Arlington Row (with all the other tourists!) Grab an ice cream from the handy post office across the road and stroll around and take in the scenery.
