Flott natur og opplevelse å være her i Deerness, vi startet turen ved The Gloup og spaserte utover langs klippene. Klippene ligger der lagvis i høyden og det er bratt rett ned så gå forsiktig ut på kanten. Vi kom så ut på en klippe og gikk videre ute til The Brough of Deerness som er en ruin etter etter kapell fra jernalderen. En flott tur som anbefales.

This is a short little trail to the gloup, a collapsed sea cave but unfortunately the other trail was closed.
There is lots of information boards and a good sized carpark with an honesty box full of snacks.
Its definitely worth stopping here to see it!

Beautiful views of the cliffs and bird life with interesting rock formations. Lovely walk along the cliff to see The Gloup and later the Brough of Deerness.

We visited Mull Head primarily to see The Gloup (a collapsed sea cave).
There are various walks along the cliffs around Mull Head, all with stunning views. Probably not recommended for families with young children though, due to the cliffs, and the fact that The Gloup is only partly protected by a fence.

A dramatic coastline and a lovely hardy walk around the area. Not busy and felt very stress free. Saw some varieties of birds and spent a couple of hours exploring.

Gorgeous views at every bay. The Gloup is fantastic. Reasonable walk for people of most abilities including children. Can be a bit boggy on the path. Nice place to park the car with an honesty box incase you need a snack/water.

Trudged through wind and rain to get here. Beautiful place, even more dramatic in poor weather, very slippy on stairs when wet.

Due ore circa per fare tutto il percorso ad anello dal parcheggio ai vari punti da vedere (tanti) sul mare. Molto carina. Occhio al ritorno perché non ci sono molte segnalazioni, meglio prendere dei punti di riferimento se si vuole tornare senza patemi al punto di partenza.

Awesome piece of coastline, with great views to the northern orkney isles, we saw seals and a multitude of seabirds all set in awesome rock formations.... We walked from the Gloop to Mull head via the Brough of Deerness. No visitor centre or facilities, we took 3 hours to wander about 5.5 miles. There is a bit of peaty mud, so maybe not the right walk for your new white trainers.

Another great place just for the views but also to see all the birds nesting on the cliff tops. Good for walking also, even if the weather isn't brilliant.
