Located at basement 1 of an office building. It was not easy to locate the entrance from the roads.
It is more of an exhibition rather than a museum. Area is not that big.
Most of the exhibits were from foreign artists and showcasing Western architecture/scenery rather than Taiwan artists and Taiwan miniatures.
Lighting was poor. Not easy to view most of the exhibits.
Staff were not friendly and some of them are rude.

There are some 200 world-class artworks from all over the world. They include Dollhouses that display the interior and exterior of an entire building, Roomboxes that feature delicate deco and furniture of various rooms, and lots of exquisite and creative themed works.
Every visitor, adult or kid, always appreciated and marveled at the delight and beauty of the mini world.
Unfortunately, the exhibition area is in the basement, and is kind of small. The museum will be much better if there is a larger space for exhibition.

捷運站松江南京站五號出口直行，走路不到五分鐘，右側台証金融大樓的地下一樓即是博物館的入口處。買門票進入前，櫃台會在手上蓋章，當天可憑章隨意進入，方便中途要出去休息或餐飲。館內可以拍照及攝影，但是禁用閃光燈。因為沒有派人進駐約束，感覺是給予遊客一個自我尊重的管理方式，可以沒有壓力的慢慢觀賞。
上百件的收藏品紀錄著一個家族間的懷念及感傷。
博物館出口會經過商品間，琳瑯滿目的袖珍材料提供選購，真可說是另一間展覽室。

位在台北市建國北路上的辦公大樓的B1，有一個袖珍博物館，大人門票200 ，兒童門票120 ，算是在台北市可以吹冷氣又可以溜小孩的一個小地方，我覺得裡面還蠻多想小房子也挺好玩的，如果小朋友喜歡，可以去逛逛。

I was very interesting. There were lots of miniatures to look at in exquisite detail. Very enjoyable.

O museu de miniatura fica no andar subterrâneo de um edifício comercial, tem uma portinha meio escondida para chegar ao museu. O museu é maravilhoso e muito rico em detalhes de construções, paisagens, vida cotidiana, lugares famosos. É um passeio super recomendado para quem está em Taipei. Na saída tem a lojinha que vende muitas miniaturas e recordações do que foi visto no museu.

Worst experience ever and I have taken my two kids many many places in Taipei. My very responsible 8 year old daughter asked for a $20 book just after we entered the museum to collect stamps in. I sent her back with the money. She was less than 2 meters away from me while I watched my 3 year old. I was subsequently summoned by the woman at the front desk who lectured me ( in front of other visitors) on not letting my kids run around and that they could get lost. How rude and patronizing. Why not just give her the book ( she had asked in Chinese). Why the need to lecture someone on their parenting skills when I was standing less than two meters away and watching my three year old. Totally ruined our stay there. They need to change their attitude towards paying customers. Nobody wants to be spoken to like that. We did absolutely nothing wrong. I’m absolutely appalled by this lady’s rude and obnoxious manner. Avoid this place if you have kids. Have since read other reviews from people who say staff were also rude and unfriendly to their children. It’s not always easy taking two kids out on your own. Have some consideration!

You have to bring out your inner child when you visit this unique museum, and it is quite amazing to see everything downsized so proportionately.
To get to this museum, you take exit 5 of Songjiang Nanjing Rd metro stop, walk to Yitong Rd, turn right, walk through Yitong Park and one block further towards a main street. The museum is located inside an office building in the lower level. Open 10-6 for anyone interested.
I love the whimsy of this museum, appreciate the work involved to make miniatures this small. There was even the tiniest 2” TV screen which was actually a working TV screen. The chandeliers in all these dioramas had the tiniest light bulbs in them and working too.
There were scenes of villages from the 18th, 19th centuries, of beloved stories like Alice in Wonderland, of fairy stories, Pinocchio, many others. My favourites were just little living rooms in miniature. There was one modern little kitchen donated from Richmond, BC. I also loved a cutaway of Buckingham Palace showing 3 floors of furnished rooms in miniature. Even more amazing was Louis XIV’s Palace of Versaille’s Hall of Mirrors in miniature.
This museum remains one of my favourites.

If you’re into dollhouses you’ve got to stop here. I personally liked the storybook dioramas — Gulliver’s Travels, Alice in Wonderland, Jack and the Beanstalk — best, but the dolls, dollhouses and models of iconic buildings — the White House, Versailles — are terrific as well. Miniatures aficionados will think they’ve died and gone to heaven when they step into the gift shop.

Miniatures are impressive. I bought tiny souvenirs in the gift shop for coworkers. I was more impressed by the gift shop than anything else. Spent about an hour here. The landmark minis were my favorites.

Is there an entrance fee and if there is how much is it?

Yes, there is. As of Nov2017 during my visit, it was $200NTD for adults, $160NTD for youths 13-18yrs old, and $120NTD for children 6-12yrs old. Half price for those with proof of disability and 10% discount for groups more than 20persons.

I could not visit this museum when we had travelled there a year back. It is open till 6pm or so. so, we had to be satisfied with a shop, which sells miniatures, just opposite to the museum. They also had nice collection.
