Visited as part of the fabulously enjoyable and informative Baroness of Bolsover Tour. The church is well loved with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is historical, beautiful and fascinating all in one. The love of Christ abounds within its walls. That's obvious! X

Visited as part of Baroness Bolsover tour. Lovely interior and fascinating history. The graves are well kept and provide a picturesque backdrop to the church building.

This is such a beautiful church. We visited it for the local schools Christmas Carol concert. We were warmly welcomed and the sound / speaker system was great. They have measures in place for social distancing and hand gel to apply when entering. Their Christmas tree was gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit

A lovely church that is beautifully illuminated by the winter sun low in the sky filtering through the lovely stone mullioned windows

Very beautiful medieval church with a fine organ. Worth a visit if you're into medieval architecture

When you approach this church you cannot fail to be impressed by the solid, chunky bell tower that is almost fortress like in its solidity, and the rest of the building seems sympathetic to the plain style of church architecture employed here.
The church is situated in a large, spacious church yard that contains many interesting gravestones. Unfortunately I couldn't gain entry to the interior of the church, so cannot review any further (hence my limit to three stars). This may be due to the building work being carried out or they may have a closed door policy - perhaps someone could advise. The notice on the notice board advises that the church is open on Saturdays.

A solidly designed church, unfussy but attractive at the same time. At the heart of the community with some interesting stones in graveyard

We went to church to see xmas scarcrow festival,the theme was panto,and was so good. The folks who did these put so much work and imagination in it was a delight to see,well done church people. The church also had the Cavendish Crypt open to visiors but there was so many people wanting to see it we could not wait. A nice church and friendly people.

Popped into see the crypt as recommend by the staff at the castle, wanted to see the underpin but it's closed as they are renovating the building. Friendly welcome & came away with leaflets.

The Bolsover Parish Church church is a listed building and worth a visit if you are in the area. The church is set in a large church yard that has footpaths running through it. There are several connections with local families & the castle at Bolsover if you are interested in the history you can pick up a leaflet for the Bolsover Town Trial from the local information office.
