The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is a Sunday event that offers so many different booths featuring fish, juices, olive oil, breads, pastries, vegetables and so much more. This a Farmers Market but to the highest level.

Tourist Trap. There was lots of different shop selling all the newest and latest fads, gimmicks, etc. There was also a number of shops selling used junk as vintage items.
Lots of food venders. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Everything is expensive. Lots of people. Lots of sun. Lots of people with dogs,
Free parking at the city place garage.

The absolute best way to view and interact with the city of West Palm Beach. Tons of options for food, knick-knacks, and wonderful memorabilia.

Rip off parking charges anywhere near this place. A lot of street food stands and expensive craft stands. Thoroughly disappointed with everything around West Palm Beach and the prices charged. Won’t visit this greedy area again. There are many other places that welcome you, not price gouge you.

The Palm Beach Green Market was inspired by Mayor Nancy Graham's trip to the markets in Europe. She wanted to bring the same kind of locally sourced produce market to West Palm Beach. The first version of the market opened in 1995 in the town hall parking lot with 13 vendors. They didn't even have farmers lined up and instead bought and resold produce until they could get the market set up. The market was a hit and by 2010 it had moved to Narcissus Avenue and 2nd Street with 45 vendors. Today the market is up to 90 vendors and is located along the West Palm Beach water front. In it's 25 year history the market has won more than 24 awards.
This was my first time visiting the market. There is free parking in the city garage until 2 but unfortunately it was full so I ended up paying $10 to park in a lot. When I got to the market I was impressed by how large and varied it is. Undoubtedly the best part of shopping here is that you can buy $10 unlimited mimosas to sip on while you shop. I was only able to stay for a short time but I will definitely be doing that next time. Once you have a drink in hand it's time to shop. Produce, pickles, plants, baked goods, lobster rolls, fresh mozzarella, spices, coffee, honey, a cone of hot apple cider doughnuts, bagel sandwiches, gelato, and smoothies were just some of the delights I saw. I had to have the doughnuts and ended up leaving with some orchids and a ring from the craft vendors up the street.
A nice aspect of this market is that the Palm Beach history museum has a walking history tour that leaves from here. You could not ask for a prettier location to have a market. The mega yachts and sailboats offer an enchanting backdrop to the sights, sounds, and smells of the market. I loved my visit and I will definitely be back especially when it is cooler. I probably would have ended up shopping more but the heat was so overwhelming and there was no shade so bring sun protection. The Palm Beach Green Market is held every Saturday morning 9 AM to 1 PM, October through April.

As farmer's markets go, this urban one is quite nice. Since we're in a hotel, we are limited in produce and food items for cooking, so landed on a basket of purple plums to augment some nutrition for the week.
We actually sauntered over to the market in pursuit of CBD oil, which we found at a table manned by an family member-owner, who was very knowledgeable, and generous with samples.
We purchased a full-spectrum hemp oil, and some face cream. We will keep you tuned in.
We had some very bad oily croissants with greasy eggs, and ended up throwing them out. We so wished we had waited to find Aioli's booth, where we would have had superior croissants or bread. Next time we will know.
We passed on gelato, because, good as it looked, we were a little iffy on ingredient quality. Again, we need to see it again.
Still and all, visiting a farmer's market on a Saturday morning is always a pleasant experience.

We walked around and sampled a delicious crab cake, purchased some fresh fruit and marinara sauce, and salivated over the scrumptious French pastries at one of the food booths. If you’re in the area on a Saturday morning, you should stop and enjoy this place!

While visiting with friends in Delray Beach, Florida, we took time to travel to Palm Beach for the Green Market. The "green" market is what we call a "farmer's" market in the northeast.
Well worth the half hour ride from Delray. Parking is a bit of an issue! Just bring along some patience and some good walking shoes and you should be fine. Of course you have to pay for parking everywhere.
The market was delightful, clean, and a nice mix of produce, crafts and food. No need to find a restaurant for lunch because there is plenty of booths serving hot food.
And if you like dogs, well, just grab a smoothie, fine a place to sit and watch the parade of dogs of all shapes and sizes. Not only were the dogs well behaved but their owners were as well.
Then take a scenic drive and check out President Trump's Florida home, Maralago.

My apologies for not answering sooner. I believe the market is not in operation during May, but please google them to find out.
There are a few other markets in the area that might operate out of season. However, most end at the end of April.
I hope this is useful.
When is the Market Season?
