We visited the stadium on a drizzly wet day, but it didn’t make a blind bit of difference as the retractable roof was closed! What an amazing experience. Our teenage son loved it, the tour guide was very knowledgable and was clearly a fan of Ajax! The tour was entirely in English too, which helped us no end! We took the metro to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station. There are lots of eateries around the area for quick snacks and you get a discount in both the shop and adjacent restaurant by showing your ticket. Two hours well spent. The only pain was they you needed to download the Ajax app and make an account with Ajax just to get in. A bit of a faff, but I did all of that before setting off.

I went with my family on the kids tour. It should have been a pleasant afternoon, but it ended up being a very frustrating experience. Right at the entrance we asked if they also spoke English, we are Brazilian and have command of the language. The gentleman who led the visit spoke in English. It turns out that during the journey he only spoke in Dutch, he didn't say a word in English, leaving my 8 year old son completely excluded from the tour and without understanding any information. Another participant, penalized by our exclusion, was kind and did some translations. We ended the tour very sad and went to have a snack at an establishment close to the stadium. To our surprise, there was said guide, greeting us IN ENGLISH!!! An unforgettable rudeness and lack of tact. AJAX never again.

We went at 4pm and had plenty of time left. We did the self tour and flew round.
The pitch was good and we could have a drink and sit in the seats, other than that there was a trophy/history room and the changing room, then that was it. You get 10 percent off after the tour as well which was nice. Even my friends who don’t have an interest in football liked the stadium as well!

We are talking about the most important Dutch club ever. Wrapped in history and culture. Immensely linked to the number 14 whose name the arena bears today. Cost definitely proportionate for the ability to tell what Ajax is today and what it was before. The stadium is truly majestic and imposing. Locker rooms and the press room give you the chance to be a Lancer for a second. The only flaw I found was that the shop in the center was cheaper than the one at the end of the tour.

Un esperienza davvero bella da fare per chi ama il calcio in generale, molto organizzato, ci è costato 20€ lo stadio molto curato con poltrone reclinabili.

Erg leuke tour door het stadion. Eindelijk eens de kleedkamers, perskamer, eretribune etc. kunnen bekijken. Het is wel aan te raden om de tour te doen met gids. Zo kom je iets meer te weten. De gids deed goed zijn best maar het bleef redelijk algemeen dus voor de feiten hoef je het niet te doen(zoals informatie over de bouw, grasmatproblematiek in het verleden etc). Maar goed, het is dan ook geen museum. Het was een leuke rondleiding en zeker een aanrader volgens mijn zoon van 13 jaar. Houd er rekening mee dat de tour met gids maar een aantal vertrektijden per dag heeft en dat de tour in de talen is van de deelnemersgroep. Bij ons was dat bijvoorbeeld een combinatie van Nederlands en Engels.

Great museum, fab staff, just an all-around excellent tour, we managed to book for free with the Amsterdam city card but would have been happy to pay for it. So worth doing for a few hours.

La visite du stade de l'AJAX est vraiment un incontournable de la visite de la capitale hollandaise pour tout fan de foot ! Le tour dans les infrastructures du stade et dans le musée sont passionnants.

Went with Dutch friends on a Monday morning. Social distancing (1.5 mts) maintained by a bleeding fob around the neck. Tour guide was brilliant, a guy in his mid fifties. So informative he was wanting questions from the group. At an hour and a quarter it was long enough for my wife a non football enthusiast to stay interested. Trophy room was wonderful, also the dressing room and the pitch view. Just an issue the souvenir shop opened late at 12. Could have been an issue with Covid 19. Overall a great tour and highly recommended.

Incontournable pour les fans de football, ce stade chargé d’histoire et de grandes affiches est magnifique.
Seul regret, la partie « histoire » du club qui n’est peut être pas assez mise en avant, le musée étant bien trop petit pour une telle équipe.
