Maravilha, realmente um parque lindo e cheio de história com bastantes atividades para fazer, e passeios lindos para dar cheio de vistas maravilhosas. Recomendo a ver o por do sol

What a wonderful day we had on the Rock visiting the Nature Reserve. It was great to see so many Barbary apes so close up and it was quite exciting to see how fast they could run and jump and even fly through the air so very close to us! We went on our own as a family as we didn't want to rush through the visit on one of the tours. We were shocked to see the tour drivers feeding the apes though, given the signs everywhere forbidding this and saying how dangerous it is. This was for the benefit of their passengers, of course, to see the apes up close. But all in all, this is most definitely not to be missed if you're in Gibraltar.

The monkeys are everywhere, and they're the main attraction. You must have all food in closed packs. I turned my back on a monkey, and in no time he was on my backpack, despite the fact it was closed. Some of the tour operators feed and hold the monkeys - against all the rules. In addition, they allow the tours with their cars to block the roads. This should be a walk-only reserve, but I guess money counts more... This is definitely the best part of Gibraltar!

Many places to visit but badly placed and misleading signs in places. Followed the monkey, history and nature trails to see the apes, skywalk, siege tunnels, St Michaels cave, siege exhibition, WWII tunnels and Moorish castle.
Although took the cable car up the walk brought us most of the way down the Rock and we carried on to the bottom in foot.
St Michaels cave is stunning - though the photograph stall inside was a distraction.
Great views from Skywalk
Interesting info in siege tunnels and the siege exhibition but WWII tunnels were disappointing.
Signage wasn’t great and at times misleading and unclear. Path down to the Windsor bridge has many steps and uneven. Take care, especially in the wet.
Sharing narrow roads with large mini buses / people carriers is not great especially when they travel in convoy. More effort needed to control their speed

There is nothing very interesting to see. The Map is awfully confusing. There is either no signage or signage is unclear. The meditterean steps are not really steps, it’s an awful trail with jutting rocks in full sun. The views are no different at the bottom than at the top. The “batteries” are an engine and two mannequins standing in front of them etc.. The two best things were the Lovely, clean and relaxed monkeys and the St-Michael’s cave. Hardly worth the amount of walking up and down the rock you have to do. And the additional frustrations of the Cable car Shuttle service. This will go down as the WORST Vacation day I have had so far. A complete waste of time.
CABLE CAR SERVICE:
Absolutely Awful. The instructions on where to find the shuttle once in Gibraltar were awful. We never found out where the shuttle was and we ended up walking 40 minutes to the cable car. Some other people say that when they found the shuttle the driver told them he was on his break and they waited 40 min. To get the shuttle home, once again, Not clear as to where you needed to wait for it. It was apparently where there is a sign that says Taxis Only. The advertisement said that there was a shuttle every 30 min. No mention as to when the last shuttle was. When i went to inquire the people at the booth were unhelpful. When I got angry and insisted that they come to show me exactly where we were supposed to wait, one of the girls actually Laughed and treated me like I was some kind of idiot. Another couple was also waiting and one of the shuttles, which you are Supposed to know is the one which says Calypso tours. When they saw one arrive, they asked if he was the shuttle and he says that No, he was done for the day. Went back and asked again, whether a shuttle was coming? The lady came out and said that she phoned and asked the company to send another shuttle because I complained. We waited and waited, still no Show. We waited over an hour. A number of Calypso tour shuttles came and dropped off people and they all told us that they were Not the shuttle. Finally, one of them took pity on us and agreed to shuttle us back. We were tired from going up and down the rock and the whole NOT really the shuttle experience that we were sold was absolutely Terrible.

Well worth a visit. You can walk there, catch a bus or grab a cable car. The new park is easy to get around but it a bit of a walk so be prepared and be fit. The monkeys 🙈 are cool.

The cable car to the top of the rock was disgusting. Too many people crammed into the cart, to make as much money as possible, for around £20 return is an absolute rip off and last 2 minutes, I genuinely felt unsafe and I’ve been to a war zone. Whilst at the so called ‘nature reserve’, £18/£19 a day is astronomical, considering what the place looks like. Beautiful views, don’t get me wrong and great to see the Barbary macaques, but my god, the place looks like a landfill site. Does anyone actually clean the place after the tourists leave rubbish all over the place? To make this even worse, the amount of vehicles, taxis, mini buses and private cars constantly going up and down is vile. How is this helping the Barbary macaques with the noise and car pollution? It’s ok though, a Londoner is making thousands a pounds a day, and supposedly the elderly and children can see the monkeys, whilst he drives in his mini bus adding more pollution to the rock. Also one of the drivers was feeding the monkeys, isn’t this illegal? Saw zero wildlife barring a few pigeons, probably due to the race track and constant vehicles going round it. We walked up and down the second day as I couldn’t bring myself to be ripped off or killed on the cable car. Clean up the mess and sort the rubbish out. Too many people employed doing absolutely nothing. Plus how can you call it a nature reserve with all the rubbish everywhere, you certainly don’t get that at Spurn Point near Hull.

This thing is hella expensive. The cable car and admission to the nature reserve for 2 will set you back over 100 UK Pounds. As some previous commenters have said, just take the cable car to the top and walk down as you see the sights.
The thing is, other than the Monkeys that live on the Rock, none of it is very interesting. The cave is beautiful, but super kitsch with weird music and lightshow repeating every 10 minutes or so. The Siege tunnels are all full of these self congratulatory recordings and posters gloriying the "Britishness" of the place, which is all more than a bit cringe.
If your visit to Gibraltar is a once in a lifetime thing, spend the money and see what you can in a few hours. Be prepared to pay through the nose for the privilidge though.

I think it was less than 20 pounds. There is also a convenient bus service. We were going from the Holiday Inn (near the frontier) to the Med.

Once you take the cable car to the top, do you see St Michael's cave first or the great siege tunnel?
Which is closest to the top ?
Did you go to WW 2 caves? how did you get there and what is the cost of ticket since it is not included with cable car?

Hi,
St. Michael's cave is closest to the cable car, so usually people see it first.
We didn't go to the WW2 caves because they were closed.

If I pre-buy a round ticket on the cable car can I still buy a ticket to the nature reserve at the ticket office before I ride? There doesn’t seem to be an option to buy both in one go?

We were going to buy the return cable car ticket, until we saw the queue. It was 3pm and the line was still going to take an hour before ride. I don't know if you can bypass the queue, if you have pre bought your ticket.
At the top, the nature reserve is over a wide area with the cable car in the center, and I think you can walk around with out a specific ticket.
The way we did it was to share a taxi for the same cost of the return cable car and we had a proper tour and entry into the caves and the castle as well as excellent advice and photos of the apes. We went early May if you want to read my review. I know this is long and doesn't exactly answer your question but I hope it helps and you have a good time.

what is the cost of the ticket to see all sites? Do you have to pay with GDP or Euros?
Dayle P

Cost is about £10 and you can pay with either uk Stirling or euros. Check the exchange rate before travelling as you may get more Stirling than euros and you can pay with either throughout Gibraltar

Sorry only just seen this. May be a tad too late for you now! Saw families using strollers but it is steep.
